Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz has threatened to annex parts of the Gaza Strip if Hamas does not release its remaining hostages, instructing the IDF to seize additional areas, evacuate Palestinian civilians, and expand the security zone around Gaza to protect Israeli communities and soldiers through a permanent Israeli presence.
