The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office has rejected a report from Channel 12 suggesting that Israel and Hamas are considering a “limited” hostage agreement as a goodwill gesture ahead of US President-elect Donald Trump’s second term.
The Channel 12 report stated that both parties might reach a smaller deal in time for Trump’s inauguration on January 20. However, the report did not elaborate on the specifics of the alleged agreement, claiming that the details had not been authorized for publication.
In response, the Prime Minister’s Office issued a brief statement, labeling the report as “a complete lie.”
