A spokesperson for the Biden campaign confirmed this week that President Biden will in fact debate GOP challenger Donald Trump. Biden initially made the claim during an interview with Howard Stearn.

“I am, somewhere. I am happy to debate him,” he said when asked if he would debate.

Biden’s debate ability has been in question in the wake of Special Counsel Robert Hur describing Jos as “an elderly man with a poor memory.”
“Of course, he is not being truthful,” Outnumbered co-host Emily Compagno said. “I didn’t take it as any iota of actually meaning it. He [Biden] just says whatever comes out of his mouth. He agrees with whoever is speaking around him.”
But Team Biden says otherwise.
“President Biden has made it very clear that he will be debating Donald Trump,” Biden campaign spox Adrienne Elrod confirmed Wednesday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
