Released hostage Ofer Calderon’s uncle told the Knesset Health Committee that during his captivity, Calderon lost 25 kilograms (55 pounds). Before his release as part of the ceasefire deal, Hamas force-fed him large amounts of food, including rotten vegetables, to make him appear healthier.
