Last night, the Security Cabinet gave the green light to a proposal put forward by Defense Minister Yisroel Katz, which involves setting up a voluntary relocation agency for Gaza residents interested in moving to another country. This initiative will be carried out in compliance with both Israeli and international law, and in line with the guidelines outlined in President Donald Trump’s Gaza Plan.
“We are using all means to implement US President Donald Trump’s plan and we will allow every resident of Gaza who wishes to voluntarily move to a third country to do so,” Katz affirmed.
The approved plan stipulates that the new administration will operate under the Ministry of Defense’s leadership and will be authorized to collaborate with international organizations and other relevant authorities as per the directives of the political leadership. The administration will also be tasked with coordinating efforts across various government ministries.
The Directorate’s role will include preparing and facilitating the secure and orderly relocation of Gaza residents to other countries. This will involve ensuring their safety during transit, establishing designated routes and checkpoints in Gaza, and coordinating land, sea, and air transport to their final destinations. The Minister of Defense will soon reveal who will lead the new administration.
