Yaakov Shwekey visited Israel last week during Winter Vacation season. Shwekey was seen davening/praying at the Kotel in a video he posted on Instagram. There were also videos of Shwekey davening/praying at various locations across Israel.

Shwekey isn’t the only one who visited Israel recently, many people have been visiting especially after the country reopened its gates in early January.

During Shwekeys trip, he spent a lot of time working on projects. Shwekey announced that he worked on some new music, and even some new videos expected to be released sometime in the coming months.

Shwekey said in an interview before he released his most recent album that he was originally planning to release a double album. However, the project was taking too long – and his new album was long overdue so he instead decided to first release the L’chaim album with whatever songs were ready. Shwekey would then continue working on new music for hopefully a quicker release on another new album. It’s possible this is what Shwekey has been working on, though it is unknown at this time.
