President Donald Trump is pushing forward with his America First agenda at a rapid pace, and on Tuesday evening, he will speak to both Congress and the American public during primetime to highlight his administration’s achievements.
The focus of his speech to Congress will be the “Renewal of the American Dream,” according to a report by Fox News Digital, citing White House officials.
Trump’s address is expected to cover four key areas: his administration’s accomplishments during its second term, both domestically and internationally; the steps taken to boost the economy; the president’s renewed push for Congress to approve more funding for border security; and his plans to promote peace on a global scale.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt remarked that Trump’s speech “will be must-see TV.”
“President Trump has accomplished more in one month than any president in four years, and the renewal of the American Dream is well underway,” Leavitt said. “In his joint address to Congress, President Trump will celebrate his extraordinarily successful first month in office while outlining his bold, ambitious and commonsense vision for the future.”
On Monday, Trump used his Truth Social platform to build anticipation for his speech.
“TOMORROW NIGHT WILL BE BIG,” he wrote. “I WILL TELL IT LIKE IT IS!”
The president’s address is slated to begin at 9:00 p.m. ET in the U.S. House of Representatives chamber at the Capitol.
