President Donald Trump revealed on Friday that the United States has presented Iran with a formal offer concerning its accelerating nuclear efforts, as diplomatic talks continue between the two nations.
“They have a proposal. More importantly, they know they have to move quickly or something bad—something bad’s going to happen,” Trump said while speaking to journalists aboard Air Force One following his departure from the United Arab Emirates, the final destination on his recent three-country visit across the Middle East.
Trump refrained from providing any further details about what the proposal entails, and Iranian officials did not immediately confirm whether they had received the offer.
