President Trump ripped CNN, a frequent target of his, early Monday as he arrived to London for his first state visit to the United Kingdom.
Trump tweeted that his “only problem” during the trip was that the primary source of U.S. news in the U.K. was CNN — a network whose coverage he described as “negative” and “so much Fake News.”
Trump suggested in a follow-up tweet that if consumers stopped using or subscribing to CNN’s parent company, AT&T, it “would be forced to make big changes at CNN.”
“I believe that if people stopped using or subscribing to @ATT, they would be forced to make big changes at @CNN, which is dying in the ratings anyway. It is so unfair with such bad, Fake News! Why wouldn’t they act. When the World watches @CNN, it gets a false picture of USA. Sad!”
