President-elect Donald Trump recently shared a scathing video highlighting numerous Democrats who have consistently praised President Biden’s mental clarity, posting it shortly after a veteran journalist condemned those who helped conceal his “obvious cognitive decline.” The video was made available just hours after CBS News reporter Jan Crawford criticized the media for covering up the president’s deteriorating condition, only for it to become impossible to ignore during the debate.
The almost three-minute video, set to playful theme music, opens with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre looking flustered when questioned about Biden’s cognitive abilities. “Oh my gosh! He’s the president of the United States! I can’t even keep up with him!” Jean-Pierre exclaims, repeating her defense that the president was mentally sharper than ever.

A number of prominent figures from across the Democratic Party, including Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), are shown in the video asserting Biden’s sharpness and capability.
The compilation also includes several instances where Democrats insist that Biden remains “sharp” and “capable,” alongside a contrast with poll data revealing that 68% of Americans thought Biden was “too old” for another term in office. In one clip, First Lady Jill Biden speaks up in defense of her husband, telling “The View” hosts, “You’re gonna see how smart he is, and the experience he has.” In another, she adds, “I think his age is an asset. He’s wise, he has wisdom, he has experience.”
The video features more Democrats, such as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), and Jim Clyburn (D-SC), all of whom are seen praising Biden’s mental abilities. Trump shared the video without offering any commentary.
This post came shortly after Crawford’s fierce criticism of Biden, in which she referenced a recent Wall Street Journal report. The report uncovered how White House staff had gone to great lengths to shield the 82-year-old president from public scrutiny about his mental health over the past four years. “And yet he insisted that he could still run for president. We should have much more forcefully questioned whether he was fit for office for another four years, which could have led to a primary for the Democrats,” Crawford remarked.
