One of the “Trump Baby” blimps flown at protests in London against the US president’s visit was attacked by a pro-Trump supporter carrying a sharp object.
A woman approached a group of activists outside the House of Commons and stabbed a mini blimp in the back, according to the team of “babysitters” looking after the balloon. In footage broadcast online, the suspect could be heard calling the balloon a “national disgrace”, adding: “The president of the United States is the best president ever, shame on you.
The Donald Trump supporter was led away from the crowd by police officers. A spokesperson for Scotland Yard told The Independent that a woman was initially arrested for possession of a bladed article.

President Trump during an interview broadcast early Wednesday said that he appreciates Prince Charles’s passion on climate change, but dismissed the British royal’s concerns on the topic, adding that the weather “changes both ways.”
Trump told Piers Morgan of ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” that the prince spent more than an hour trying to warn him the dangers of climate change.
“He is really into climate change and I think that’s great. What he really wants and what he really feels warmly about is the future,” Trump said. “He wants to make sure future generations have climate that is good climate, as opposed to a disaster, and I agree.”

Sources described as close to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that an MK who called for Israel to become a halachic state would never be justice minister, despite previously being in contention for the post.
Bezalel Smotrich, a member of the national-religious United Right party, told the Israeli media on Monday, “The State of Israel will be run, God willing, as it was run during the days of King David and King Solomon — according to Torah law.”
Smotrich’s name had been mooted as a possible education or justice minister in the next governing coalition, though Netanyahu ultimately failed to form a government, prompting new Knesset elections to be called for September, just over five months after the previous ones were held.

Yerushlayim Mayor Moshe Lion on Wednesday afternoon promised that the toava flags would be taken down immediately following the “pride” parade Thursday afternoon.
Following the city’s insistence on removing pro-family signs while ignoring requests to remove toava flags, one resident wrote that he was “shocked to discover” the bias.
“Where are law and justice?” he sent Lion via WhatsApp. “Are my family and I second-class citizens in this city?”
Leon’s response was shown to have read, “My dear friend, I am committed to acting according to my legal adviser’s guidelines. I am very sorry that you feel hurt. Tomorrow night all of the flags will be removed.”

Israel’s High Court of Justice has rejected a petition by Hamas terrorists from Gaza incarcerated in Israeli prisons to overrule a decision by Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan to prevent them from receiving family visits.
In 2017, Erdan ordered the Israel Prison Service not to approve family visits for Gaza terrorists connected to Hamas, in a bid to exert pressure on the organization to return Israeli citizens and the bodies of Israeli soldiers.
The court found that Erdan’s decision fell within the purview of state security and is legal, according to The Jerusalem Post.

A Bnei Brak man was granted trial by the Polish government this week, after waiting in prison for three years to have his case reviewed.
Avraham Gali, 50, allegedly had his identity stolen by an acquaintance in Poland, who proceeded to use his bank account information to engage in fraud. Gali was arrested and imprisoned. Wife Sigalit and his four children “assumed he would be returning soon,” as they were confident in his innocence.
The man’s case was put on the back burner for an excruciating three years.

President Trump in an interview broadcast early Wednesday argued against gun control, saying that unarmed civilians are “sitting ducks.”
“When somebody has a gun illegally and nobody else has a gun because the laws are that you can’t have a gun, those people are gone. They have no choice, they have no chance,” Trump told Piers Morgan on ITV’s “Good Morning Britain.”
“The people that obey the laws…those people are sitting ducks,” he added.
Morgan, however, noted that “more people were shot dead in America that week than have died from guns in Paris since the Second World War.”
