The bodies of the four hostages which were returned to Israel over the last weekend were rescued from a tunnel in Jabaliya.
The tunnel was found by the 202nd Paratroopers Battalion. In this instance there was no combat in the tunnel, but there was many encounters with Hamas terrorists above ground.
The tunnel had been used by Hamas in an attempt to rebuild their command and control capabilities. The tunnel is is part of a larger underground complex the IDF had not yet reached.
Inside the tunnel, the bodies were hidden along with a very powerful explosive device. It is believed Hamas intended to detonate the device if the IDF came for the hostage’s bodies.

Omar Khadr had waived his right to appeal when he pleaded guilty in 2010 to charges that included murder. But his lawyers argued […]

The Dali, the huge container ship that collapsed Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge in March, closing Baltimore Harbor, will be refloated and moved Monday, a significant milestone in the cleanup of the wreckage, authorities said.
The unified command in charge of operations at the site of the collapse said officials hope to move the vessel at high tide Monday morning to a marine terminal about 2 1/2 miles from where it struck a bridge pier, causing the collapse.
Refloating and removing the Dali appears to be one of the last and largest steps in the eight-week effort to reopen the harbor and its shipping channel after the collapse on March 26.

President Biden declared Sunday that things got “kind of bad” when he was vice president during the COVID-19 pandemic — even though the virus hit more than three years after he left office.
The 81-year-old Biden, who finished his eight years as Barack Obama’s veep in January 2017, suggested he was still in post at the time of the outbreak during a campaign event with the NAACP.
“When I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic and what happened was, Barack said to me, ‘Go to Detroit! Help fix it,’” Biden said.
“Well, the poor mayor, he’s spent more time with me than he ever thought he’s gonna have to!” the president added.

Hours after an International Criminal Court prosecutor sought arrest warrants for senior Israeli officials alongside Hamas terrorists, and after members of Congress denounced that decision, U.S. President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken released statements.
“The ICC prosecutor’s application for arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous,” the president said in a very terse statement. “Let me be clear: whatever this prosecutor might imply, there is no equivalence—none—between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.”
Washington “fundamentally rejects” the announcement from the United Nations body in The Hague, Blinken wrote in a heftier statement.

The decision by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to seek arrest warrants for Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant “is beyond outrageous and shows the extent to which the international judicial system is in danger of collapsing, Israeli President Isaac Herzog said on Monday.
“Taken in bad faith, this one-sided move represents a unilateral political step that emboldens terrorists around the world, and violates all the basic rules of the court according to the principle of complementarity and other legal norms,” he said.
