Around 1,000 young chareidi men in Israel have been summoned to report to recruitment centers in the upcoming days.
The IDF anticipates that only 10-15% of those summoned will actually show up. In response, they have stated that if turnout is low, additional orders will be issued.
Posters have been put up in chareidi communities, urging the public to brace themselves for “massive demonstrations against the draft.”
The posters declared: “Since the founding of the state, there has not been such a devastating blow against the young men of chareidi Judaism in the Holy Land! Never before have the swords of enlistment been aimed at 1,000 boys in a single day, and this is just the beginning.”

Residents in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, are in shock over a modified Ford F-150 that appeared in their Jewish and hipster neighborhood a few months ago, displaying a threatening antisemitic message covered in blood imagery.
The black pickup truck is adorned with a pro-Palestine wrap featuring images of splattered blood and bloodstained handprints, reminiscent of the infamous Ramallah lynching of 2000, where two Israeli reservists were brutally killed by a violent mob.
Additionally, the truck is decorated with faux bullet holes and a large portrait of the late Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat on the hood, with two Palestinian flags flying above it.

A London-based mohel has been denied bail following allegations of traveling to Ireland to perform an unauthorized circumcision on a child.
R’ Yonason Abraham, 47, was apprehended on Tuesday and brought before Judge Michael Connellan at Dublin District Court on Thursday. He is charged with performing a bris on a boy at a Dublin 15 address without being a registered medical practitioner.
Detective Garda Megan Furey informed the court that Rabbi Abraham did not respond when charged at Blanchardstown Garda station. She opposed bail due to the gravity of the charges. The detective explained that the offense, violating the Medical Practitioners Act 2007, carries a potential maximum fine of €130,000 and up to five years in prison.

The Attorney General’s Office directed the Israel Defense Forces to broaden its conscription of chareidi men to encompass full-time yeshiva students, rather than just those who are part of the workforce and not engaged in Torah study.
Earlier in the month, the IDF announced its plans to start conscripting 3,000 chareidi men aged 18-26 following the High Court’s recent ruling that the exemptions previously granted to chareidim were illegal. The first thousand were called up on July 21, and the military is getting ready to draft the next group.
To facilitate this unprecedented draft, the IDF requested employment information on young chareidi men eligible for service from the National Insurance Institute social security agency.

Despite Iranian threats, and despite all of the flight cancellations to Israel, over 150 French Jews made Aliyah on Thursday, moving to Eretz Yisrael.
The large group, including men, women, children, seven babies and one small dog schlepped their bags through extra long security lines at the Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris, before boarding the El Al flight to Israel.
Major American and European airlines have canceled flights to Israel, following Israel’s eliminations of a major Hezbollah terrorist, of Hamas terror leader Ismail Haniyeh and following the threats Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s made that Iran will ” take revenge”.

Since Hamas attacked southern Israel on Oct. 7, the Jewish Federations of North America has raised $833 million and allocated some 52% of those monies—$433 million—to 520 Israeli nonprofits, the umbrella Jewish group said.
The $433 million has helped provide 1.2 million hot meals, shelter for 37,000 evacuees and, via loan platforms, support for Israeli business, Federations stated. Eric Fingerhut, the president and CEO of Jewish Federations, stated that the “rapid and thoughtful distribution of these funds is a testament to the skill and dedication of our professionals in Israel and North America.”
