The New York Times reported on Tuesday that Israel was responsible for the detonation of pagers used by Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.
The report, which cited American and other sources, explained that the operation involved placing explosive material inside a fresh shipment of Taiwanese-made pagers sent to Lebanon.
Hezbollah had ordered the pagers from Gold Apollo, a manufacturer based in Taiwan. However, according to some officials who spoke to The New York Times, the devices were altered before reaching Lebanon. While most of the pagers were from the AP924 model, the shipment also included three other models from the same company.

In what appears to be a sophisticated, remote attack, pagers used by hundreds of members of Hezbollah exploded almost simultaneously in Lebanon and Syria, killing at least nine people and wounding thousands more. Samuel Katz, a counterterrorism expert and author who has written extensively about the elite special forces of Israel’s military, joins NewsNation’s “Dan Abrams Live” to discuss.

“It’s been two days since someone allegedly tried to kill Donald Trump again. And here you are, in the White House briefing room calling him a ‘cheat.’ How many more assassination attempts on Donald Trump until the President and the Vice President and you pick a different word than threat?!” Doocy asked.

Sky News Arabic reported on Tuesday evening that the Israeli Mossad is believed to be responsible for the recent explosions involving Hezbollah terrorists’ communication devices in Lebanon.
The report claims that Mossad planted explosive materials inside the batteries of the devices, later triggering them by increasing the temperature within the batteries.
It was also mentioned that the explosive materials had been placed in the devices prior to their arrival in Hezbollah’s possession.

Authorities reported that the individual accused of attempting to target former President Trump during his Sunday afternoon golf game in Florida had previously taken to social media, stating, “Democracy is on the ballot” this year, adding, “we cannot lose.” His remarks echoed the anti-Trump rhetoric often voiced by President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
The suspect was identified by law enforcement as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh.
Routh, who has an extensive criminal history in North Carolina, frequently shared his political views online and has only donated to Democratic candidates and causes since 2019.
In an April 22 post on X, Routh criticized Trump, writing, “DEMOCRACY is on the ballot and we cannot lose.”
