Inspectors from multiple city agencies are once again running around Boro Park, doling out hefty fines to Mosdos, Yeshivas and businesses. The Inspectors were armed with lists of only Jewish institutions and businesses, leaving many to question if this is should be a targeted attack against Jews. A photo of one of the lists was provided to YWN, after a local resident photographed it as it sat inside a city vehicle parked outside a Yeshiva. Notice not one non-Jewish institution is on this list. (Attached below) YWN can confirm through highly credible sources that at least one Yeshiva that is CLOSED had a fine plastered on their building today.

Quick a Jew! Get the cameras fast everyone! The sheer number of reporters flooding the Jewish community the past few days is simply  sickening and dangerous, as they stand around hoping to catch a Jew without a mask. It has reached a level of disgust. How long before the over aggressive news media intentionally baits a Jewish citizen into a physical altercation? Not to worry, you won’t ever see the scene like in the video below, in a black community in NYC. In Boro Park a while ago, Channel 7 N.J. Burkett was chased out of Boro Park. One resident asked why they never go cover the Bronx where there are many without masks. Not to worry, he was seen in Williamsburg a few minutes later – looking for more Jews to film.

YWN has been inundated with reports of inspectors flooding the Flatbush and Boro Park “red zones” on Monday. By 11:30AM, inspectors from the NYC Department of Buildings had already visited nearly two dozen Mosdos Hatorah. Initial reports state that inspectors are asking to enter the buildings, and if denied, they are given a summons for a court appearance in a few months along with a $15,000 fine. Highly credible sources tell YWN that the inspectors were provided a list from the State that has the names and addresses of every single Yeshiva, and were hoping to visit each one today. YWN had no information if any Yeshivas were even open.

For the past several weeks NY Governor Cuomo has insisted that the restrictions he has imposed on Frum neighborhoods are solely based on the science and the data. On Friday morning, his health commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker publicly contradicted him. Dr. Zucker admitted that “there is no specific percentage or threshold to determine when an area should be designated as an Orange or Yellow Zone, as it is a nuanced process that takes multiple factors into account and not solely the positivity percentage.” Translated into plain English, that means that neighborhoods with higher positivity rates than frum neighborhoods do not have the same restrictions imposed upon them by the Governor. The Red Zone restrictions are no different. Here is what Dr.

Police unions nationwide have largely supported President Donald Trump’s reelection, amid mass demonstrations over police brutality and accusations of systemic racism — but a number of Black law enforcement officers are speaking out against these endorsements, saying their concerns over entering the 2020 political fray were ignored. Trump has touted his support from the law enforcement community, which includes endorsements from national, city and state officers’ unions — some of which publicly endorsed a political candidate for the first time. He’s running on what he calls a “law and order” platform and tapping into a strain of anger and frustration felt by law enforcement who believe they are being unfairly accused of racial discrimination.

NYS Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein released an update on the current situation with Governor Cuomop’s shutdown, but tore into NY Governor Cuomo in his message. Eichenstein minced no words as he blasted the Governor for taking his “hate-driven messaging to a National audience”. Eichenstein says “[Cuomo is] saying things like the Orthodox Jewish community don’t want to follow the rules…. or members of the Orthodox community – they never comply the rules…. and referring to the Orthodox Community as a politically-powerful community.” “This is outrageous and devisive language!”, Eichenstein said. “He [Cuomo] is shamelessly stoking the embers of anti-Semitism. There is no other way to put it!” Watch the full video below: (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)

A man pulled down a Trump flag that was on a Jewish-owned home in Crown Heights overnight. He then returned for the second flag. CrownHeights.info reports: A passing Jewish resident confronted the man, which did not appear to phase the vandal. Instead, the vandal pulled out his phone and appears to video the retreating Jewish man in the backdrop of the torn down flag, which he then throws to the floor and stamps on. Video from nearly an hour later shows as the vandal returns, this time without a mask. The vandal can be seen as he attacks the second flag, flailing it with a plank of wood with protruding nails as two neighboring girls flee in fright. After ripping the second flag, the vandal triumphantly throws the wood to the ground and runs off.

At Sunday’s press conference, NY Governor Cuomo was asked about the Satmar wedding that the state put the brakes on after learning that thousands may be attending.

A massive Yom Tefillah is being planned for Boro Park this week. Sources tell YWN that a meeting of major Boro Park Rabbanim was held on Motzei Shabbos, and a decision was made to have the large Atzeres Tefillah. The decision was made following the forced closure of the Yeshivas and Mosdos due to the Executive Order by NY Governor Cuomo. The closures have resulted in a draconian crackdown by inspectors from numerous city agencies. The Yom Tefillah is expected to bring out tens of thousands of residents. Meanwhile, a tweet by a Boro Park reporter caused an uproar after he tweeted unverified and fake news. His tweet read: “Boro Park is holding a protest against the Cuomo lockdown on Monday, based on a decision tonight by rabbanim”.

New York City officials said they shut down an illegal party of more than 200 people who were violating pandemic restrictions at a catering hall. Revelers at the Queens Luxe Banquet Hall early Saturday morning were not social distancing or wearing proper face coverings, according to the New York City Sheriff’s Office. The owner and an employee of the venue in Queens were issued summonses for violation of emergency orders, unlicensed sale of alcohol and unlicensed warehousing of alcohol. Two other staffers were issued summonses for violation of emergency orders, the sheriff’s office said. A call to the hall seeking comment was made Sunday.
