Tzviki Paley, the 16-year-old brother of HaKedoshim Asher, h’yd, and Yaakov, h’yd, was waiting in the car as his father and three brothers were waiting at the bus stop where the attack occurred. In one second, his world changed as he watched the terror attack unfold in front of his eyes. “I heard a powerful explosion,” he told Kan News on Wednesday. “I immediately went out of the car. I saw everyone sprawled on the ground. There was complete silence.” “There’s no explanation that we understand. I remained in the car because Hakadosh Baruch Hu wanted me to remain in the car and not be outside. It was hashgacha. He [pointing at his 10-year-old brother Moishe] was standing next to Lederman, h’yd.

HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein on Wednesday sent letters to the Paley and Lederman families, who lost their sons in the Ramot terror attack. Since the Rosh Yeshivah feels too weak to travel to Yerushalayim to pay a shiva call to the families, he sat down on Tuesday evening to write a letter and asked that it be delivered to the Paley’s home in Ramot and the Lederman family in Elad.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara on Tuesday evening made a shiva call to the Paley family, who lost two young sons in the horrific Ramot terror attack. The mother of the family, Devorah Paley, told Netanyahu and his wife that their emunah is what sustains them and told them about the support they’re receiving from Am Yisrael. Netanyahu looked at photos of Asher, h’yd and Yaakov, h’yd and said: “I would like your permission to put the picture in my office. This tragic story will help me explain to world leaders the difference between Am Yisrael and our enemies. While our enemies murdered these two neshamos, our forces were in Türkiye saving lives.” Devora agreed to the prime minister’s request.

A massive fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon at a factory in central Jerusalem. A large number of firefighting forces are working in the area in an attempt to quell the flames. Due to the fear that the fire will spread, new mothers and their babies were evacuated from the nearby Bikur Cholim Hospital as well as the residents of a hostel next to the factory. Streets near the site of the fire have been closed to traffic. The factory, which is owned by Chareidim, has apparently been completely destroyed by the fire. Ynet reported that one patient gave birth outside the hospital to a premature baby during the evacuation. Baruch Hashem, the mother and baby are both in good condition. (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)

As pretty much everyone can well remember, the CDC’s shifting stance on face masks in the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic was almost comical. It first claimed that face covering weren’t needed, then made a sudden about-face and demanded that everyone wear one – including kids as young as two years old. CDC Director Robert Redfield insisted that “face masks are the most important powerful health tool we have” to fight the pandemic, and even suggested that they are more important than vaccines. But a new scientific review finds that the CDC was dead wrong. Led by 12 preeminent researchers from across the world, the study found that masks did little, or perhaps even nothing, to help curb transmission of the virus.

The incredible gevurah and emunah of Devorah Paley, who lost her two young sons in the Ramot terror attack and whose husband is hospitalized in serious condition, has garnered international attention, with CNN dedicating a special report to her. The report focused on Devorah’s faith and her acceptance of her sons’ deaths as Hashem’s will, without looking for anyone to blame. Of course, since it’s CNN, it couldn’t help but include its liberal agenda in the report, such as failing to identify the attack as a “terror attack” – rather saying “what Israeli authorities call a terror attack” and calling the recent wave of terror attacks “a wave of violence” without identifying the perpetrators. The late Staff Sgt. Asil Sawaed, who was murdered on Monday in a terror attack at the Shufat checkpoint, is a relative of a Chabad chassid in Australia, Rami Ben-David, Chareidim10 reported. Ben-David was born as Hasan Sawaed in the village of Wadi Selma in the Galil. He served in the IDF in the paratroopers and was later megayeir. To this day, Rami, who lived for a number of years in Kfar Chabad before moving to Australia, maintains a warm relationship with his Bedouin relatives in the Galil. It should be noted that Asil is the 17th member of the Sawaed tribe to be killed while serving the State. This is what Maor Farid, Rami’s son-in-law, wrote on Tuesday morning [in Hebrew]: “The late Sergeant Asil Sawaed, who was murdered yesterday in the attack, is a relative of mine.
