The two were hanging by belts from a railing that surrounds their indoor pool and were in a semi-seated position on the pool deck. The couple was among Canada’s most generous philanthropists, and their deaths shocked Canadian high society and the country’s Jewish community.

Hundreds of residents of the apartments on Sorotzkin Street that were engulfed in fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning woke up to a nightmare of fire and heavy smoke that prevented most of them from leaving their apartments. President Donald Trump told Pennsylvania lawmakers on Wednesday that the Nov. 3 election was a “fraud” and that they should be applauded for raising questions about the results in the pivotal battleground state. Hours after canceling plans to travel to Gettysburg, where lawmakers are holding an event to question the results, Trump phoned into the meeting and accused Democrats of cheating to steal the election. He also made claims of voter suppression and other irregularities. “This election was rigged and we can’t let that happen. We can’t let it happen for our country. And this election has to be turned around, because we won Pennsylvania by a lot and we won all these swing states by a lot,” the president said.

An Arab terrorist attempted to ram his vehicle into Border Police officers at the A-Za’im junction between Jerusalem and Maale Adumim on Wednesday afternoon. The police officers shot at the suspect and neutralized him. The terrorist was seriously wounded. The U.S. could start rolling out COVID-19 vaccines as early as next month, but nearly 25 percent of New Yorkers don’t want to take one, a new survey found. The Siena College Research Institute last week surveyed 803 New York state voters to gauge their feelings about the vaccine, the Wall Street Journal reported. And while 35 percent of those surveyed said they were “definitely” interested in getting vaccinated and 34 percent said they would “probably” get vaccinated, 24 percent said they would “probably not or definitely not” take a COVID-19 vaccine, the outlet reported.

Israel Border Police arrested two suspects on Monday after finding ancient Torah klafim in their possession in a Druze village in northern Israel. The Border Police conducted a search of a home on Monday in the village of Yarka for suspected possession of illegal drugs and weapons. They found what they were looking for but also found something shocking – ancient Torah scrolls in one of the bedrooms. Inspectors from the Israel Antiquities Authority were called to the scene and they estimated the klafim to be about 450 years old. The klafim were transferred to the Israel Antiquities Authority. A woman was R”L stuck and killed by a vehicle in Flatbush, Tuesday evening. Flatbush Hatzolah was on the scene at around 5:30PM, and transported the approximately 60-year-old victim to Maimonides Hospital. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to save her life, and she was Niftar. The vehicle remained on the scene, and the NYPD was investigating the incident.
