A Tampa, Florida, resident wants elected officials to forget about the “nonsense” of homelessness and violent crime, and to instead focus on what matters: giving $3 million in reparations to every black person. “All this nonsense, homelessness, and all this other garbage y’all talk about, police violence, and all this stuff, don’t nobody care about that, though nobody real care about that – we care about our reparations, and we have to put white people on notice that we want our reparations,” Tony Daniel told the Tampa City Council. “We want our reparations. $3 million per person. $3 million per person, right here in this city. That’s the only thing black people got to care about. All this other nonsense you’re talking about. We do not care about,” he continued.

The day after the conviction of the heinous Elad terrorists, Limor Chabakuk, the almanah of Yonatan Chabakuk, H’yd, spoke to Ynet about her feelings when the sentences were announced and what her six-year-old son has endured since witnessing his father’s brutal murder. Limor was present in the courtroom when the verdicts were announced. “I was afraid I would fall apart, it was extremely difficult to be in their presence. But I overcame my fears. I felt like I wanted to look at them in their eyes and show them that they didn’t break me and we’re going on with life.” “My child was there during the attack, he saw his father being slaughtered. They ruined our life. I came and cried out my pain.” “The first moment, when they entered the courtroom, I fell apart and cried.

Flatbush residents are being warned by the NYPD and Flatbush Shomrim to be hypervigilant after a sophisticated robbery took place in broad daylight this week. A woman had stopped at the Santander Bank on Coney Island Avenue and Kings Highway, where she withdrew $17,000 in cash. A suspect who was in the bank then followed the woman out to her car parked on Quentin Road and East 9th Street. As she enters her vehicle, a suspect drops a few dollars near it and proceeds to tell the woman that she had dropped money. As she exits the vehicle to pick up the cash she thought was hers, another suspect quickly opens the passenger door and steals her purse which contained the $17,000.

Conservative superstar and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to make his official entry into the 2024 presidential race next week, following months of anticipation and speculation. The Wall Street Journal reports DeSantis will file the necessary paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to declare his candidacy. DeSantis is also scheduled to meet with top financial backers in Miami, Florida, late next week, which aligns with the filing of his candidacy. DeSantis is prohibited by law from receiving or requesting campaign contributions until he formally announces his bid. By filing with the FEC, DeSantis would be able to start soliciting donations during the Miami gathering, potentially setting off a significant fundraising effort.

Senator Diane Feinstein of California returned to the Senate last week after a 2 1/2 month absence during which the 89-year-old underwent treatment for shingles. The problem? She seems to have no recollection of being missing from Washington. “What has the response from your colleagues been like? The well-wishes, what have you heard,” Ben Oreskes of the Los Angeles Times asked Feinstein about her return. “What have I heard about what,” Feinstein replied. Oreskes asked again about her absence, but the senator appeared to have no recollection of it. “No, I haven’t been gone… I haven’t been gone I’ve been working,” she insisted. “I’ve been voting. Please, either know or don’t know.” Feinstein is the oldest US senator and has been serving in the position since 1992.

As it becomes more and more clear that left-wing protesters, who every week come up with a new reason to protest, simply hate Chareidim, there was widespread condemnation of the Bnei Brak “hate protest” on Wednesday evening. Even left-wing media personalities criticized the “siege” of the Chareidi city.  Journalist Eldad Yaniv wrote: “What heartache about good Israelis who lost their way. They yell to the media that they’re ‘besieging’ their brothers – but in actuality, they fall on the refreshment stands the ‘besieged’ prepared for them.” “My camp doesn’t deserve to look like this – like an empty wagon.” “The demonstration of hatred against Bnei Brak tonight shames every humanist, liberal and human-loving Israeli.” Yaniv later added: “Tell me the truth.

Noam chairman Avi Maoz quoted New York Mayor Eric Adams’s speech last week at an Orthodox Union event about the benefits of yeshivos in a speech from the Knesset plenum this week and suggested that perhaps Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai could learn from Adams. Maoz’s speech was made on the background of a battle by leftists in Tel Aviv over the relocation of a yeshivah. Yeshivas Ma’ale Eliyahu, located in Tel Aviv near Ichilov Hospital, has been in its current location for 26 years. A few months ago, the yeshivah agreed to Huldai’s request to relocate to a nearby location since its current lot was needed to expand an existing elementary school.

A large number of officers of Israel Police and Border Guard equipped with horses and water cannons were waiting on Wednesday evening in Bnei Brak in preparation for the provocative “siege of the city and “march of rage” by left-wing protesters. Hundreds of protesters entered the city waving flags, shouting slogans and carrying anti-Chareidi signs. There were complaints from dozens of city residents who were blocked by police officers from returning to their homes on the streets where the protesters were marching. Like the previous march, some residents greeted the “besiegers” with drinks and snacks. A sign greeted the protesters saying: “Bnei Brak will remain Bnei Brak and Tel Aviv will remain Tel Aviv.

Haaretz journalist Uri Misgav mocked the netilas yadayim cup he found installed in the bathroom of El Al’s 787 Dreamliner plane and received hundreds of mocking comments in return. Misgav posted a photo of the “horrifying sight” on Twitter, writing: “El Al presents a technological innovation. In the lavatories of the 787 Dreamliner, the masterpiece of Boeing’s creation – a metal jug was installed for Netilas Yadayim k’hilchasa.” Fellow Haaretz reporter Chaim Levinson responded: “I don’t understand why it bothers you. If you want, use it and if not, don’t use it. How does it harm you?” Shas MK Uriel Busso wrote: “Horrible, let’s block the Ayalon Highway.” Business consultant Micah Shalom wrote: “Sweetie, you’re starting up with the wrong generation.
