He is survived by his parents, his wife and their five children.

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Moshe Wolfson zt”l, mashgiach of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas in Kensington, Brooklyn, and rov of Bais Medrash Emunas Yisroel in Boro park. He was 99.
Rav Wolfson collapsed on Motzoei Shabbos and was taken to the hospital, where he passed away.
Rav Wolfson was a close talmid of Rav Shraga Feivel Mendlowitz at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas.
He began his journey in the world of chinuch and harbotzas haTorah in 1943 with Aish Dos, an innovative program devised by Rav Mendlowitz to train mechanchim for yeshivos and day schools across America.

Sephardic Chief Rabbi Rav Yitzchok Yosef was taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center in Yerushalayim this morning.

Rav Yosef underwent medical tests following his doctor’s recommendation after he experienced discomfort.
After Shabbos ended tonight, he was discharged from the hospital in good condition.
Despite his discharge, Rav Yosef remains weak and will not be delivering his usual Saturday night class at the Hazidim shul.
Hadassah Hospital issued the following statement: “Chief Rabbi Rav Yitzchok Yosef was brought to Hadassah Hospital this morning for tests, as advised by his doctor, after feeling unwell. After Shabbos concluded, he was sent home in good health.”
