Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, shared a collection of curses, threats, and incitement to violence against him which has been posted to Facebook and Twitter.
“I’m really starting to fear for my life, and the police and the attorney’s office under Nurit Litman are signalling a green light for the inciters and the bullies,” Netanyahu said.
“They still have not opened an investigation against the guy who called several times to stab me with a knife,” he added.
The prime minister’s son posted three tweets by a Twitter user who goes by the name ZORO, who wrote: “I will come to your house and break your bones [right] after I get out of jail. Get the Shin Bet, the IDF, and the Mossad. I’m sure that they’re on my side. I’ll break you.”

New Jersey’s K-12 students will be encouraged to wear masks when they return to in-person instruction this fall, state officials announced Friday.
“Throughout our school facilities, all faculty and staff and all visitors will be required to wear face coverings unless doing so would inhibit individual health as per [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] recommendations,” Gov. Phil Murphy (D) said at a press conference. “Students will be strongly encouraged to wear face coverings and will be required to do so when social distancing cannot be maintained, whether that be in the classroom or in the hallways.”

We Can and We Will

By Rav Y. Reuven Rubin
We have all been sharing challenging times of late. Hopefully, by the time this reaches you the lockdown will have eased a bit and perhaps our shuls will have been reopened to a safe extent. Still, we must all understand that this has not been for naught, a message sent without being understood is truly a huge loss.
During these weeks we have all had moments of upset, frayed nerves scraping at our souls, yet all this is from the Eibishter, and we must use our every fiber to grasp the moment and use it in bringing ourselves closer to Hashem.
“Wait a minute Rabbi, I’m no superstar, I’m just a Baal habos who is trying to push myself forward whilst keeping up with some sort of standard in my Yiddishkiet.”

Dear Editor,
Many Matzav.com readers witnessed, or at least heard, how an unarmed black man was brutally murdered by a bad cop. The exposure and graphic recounting of his murder transformed him into a martyr. He became a symbol in the fight against racial disparity. An outpouring of grief and outrage was expressed throughout the country. Many violent protests were staged in the “memory” of George Floyd. Countless people took to the streets, chanting his final words: “I can’t breathe.”
