President Trump on Saturday criticized renewed calls for impeachment among some Democrats following former special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee this week.
“The Dems are now coming out of shock from the terrible Mueller performance, and are starting to spin impeachment all over again,” Trump tweeted. “How sick & disgusting and bad for our Country are they. What they are doing is so wrong, but they do it anyway. Dems have become the do nothing Party!”
The president also bashed Mueller’s “display of ineptitude & incompetence.”

Another CNN personality who was presenting on the CNN Arabic network as recently as last week appears to have expressed a series of antisemitic sentiments on Twitter, even praising Hitler. This follows the recent resignation of a CNN editor, whose past antisemitic statements surfaced Thursday afternoon.
Kareem Farid heads up a digital tech show on CNN Arabic. He began in January 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is also listed as the “Lead of Storytelling and Video Production at APCO Worldwide.”

Two “brazen” lone gunmen opened fire at a massive Brownsville, Brooklyn, block party on Saturday night, leaving a 38-year-old man dead and 11 others injured, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The gunfire erupted just before 11 p.m. as the annual two-day “Old Timers Day” party was ending and thousands of attendees were leaving, the sources said.
The violence was preliminarily blamed on two shooters who remained at large early Sunday, and who had blasted into the crowd despite a contingent of some 100 cops monitoring the event, the sources said.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi denounced President Trump’s early morning criticism of Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on Saturday, labeling the president’s remarks “racist” and hailing the longtime congressman as a “champion” and “beloved leader.”
“.@RepCummings is a champion in the Congress and the country for civil rights and economic justice, a beloved leader in Baltimore, and deeply valued colleague,” Pelosi tweeted. “We all reject racist attacks against him and support his steadfast leadership.”
Pelosi’s condemnation came in response to a series of tweets in which Trump accused Cummings of being a “brutal bully” and claimed his Baltimore district was “FAR WORSE” and “more dangerous” than the southern border.

The chairman of Habayit Yehudi, Rabbi Rafi Peretz, once again rejected the meeting scheduled for Sunday between him and former minister Naftali Bennett of the New Right party.
The New Right criticized Rabbi Peretz for cancelling the meeting. “This is not a way to conduct negotiations.”

Juan Rodriguez, 39, was hauled handcuffed before a judge, charged with the deaths of his twin children after leaving them in the back of his car.
He forgot to drop them off at their day care Friday morning, Rodriguez has told cops — and didn’t realize they were still in the back seat when he parked at the Bronx hospital where he’s a social worker, court papers reveal.
Eight hours later, the twins, Luna and Phoenix, registered an internal temperature of 108 degrees when coroners examined their bodies in their car seats.
Rodriguez was still sobbing at his arraignment Saturday night before Bronx Criminal Court Justice Patsy Goldborne. Rodriguez was freed on $100,000 bail.
“My babies are dead! I killed my babies!” he cried.
