During Monday’s Daf Yomi shiur, Reb Eli Stefansky took a full six minutes to discuss the ongoing World Zionist Congress (WZO) elections, encouraging those whose rabbanim permit participation to vote for Eretz Hakodesh. Rabbi Stefansky leads Mercaz Daf Yomi, which is followed by 20,000 participants daily, and used this platform to highlight the potential impact of the elections on the allocation of WZO funds. It was noted that Reform movements have historically voted in large numbers, directing funding toward initiatives that are detrimental and antagonistic to frum people in Eretz Yisroel.

Rockland Hatzoloh and multiple emergency agencies are on the scene of a major accident on the Garden State Parkway near Exit 172, involving an overturned bus carrying dozens of passengers. Avrumi Danziger presents a beautiful, melodic dance with the theme “Melech,” our King of the universe. This theme holds special meaning for the upcoming celebration of Purim, as “HaMelech” is mentioned many times in the Megillas Esther. According to Kabbalistic teachings, these mentions refer to Hashem’s might and kingdom. How suitable for our generation, where we all long for some light and wait for God’s kingdom to be revealed with glory. Listen and dance along to this joyful track, perfect for Purim and all year-round. The colorful song selection, coupled with Avrumi’s pleasant voice and unique delivery, creates a vibrant and uplifting vibe.

The Trump administration has rebranded a government mobile application—originally designed to help asylum seekers schedule appointments—as a tool for undocumented migrants already in the U.S. to voluntarily leave the country. The app, now called CBP Home, allows migrants to submit an “intent to depart” form, which U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) says provides a way for them to exit without facing harsher legal consequences. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem emphasized that those who self-deport using the app “may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream.” She warned, however, that those who do not leave voluntarily will be tracked down, deported, and barred from re-entering the country.

In a recent Purim shmuess, Rav Yisroel Reisman shlit”a, Rav of Agudas Yisroel of Madison in Brooklyn, and Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Vodaath, shared a humorous yet eye-opening cautionary tale about the pitfalls of relying on artificial intelligence for halachic guidance. While the story was fitting for Purim, its underlying message carried serious implications for the frum world. Rabbi Reisman began by acknowledging the rise of AI technology, quipping, “I’m aware that there’s something called AI, which always stood for Agudath Israel. Lately, it stands for artificial intelligence. I am aware that those who lack natural intelligence therefore have artificial intelligence.” He then recounted how a mispalel approached him with a shaalah but ultimately decided he no longer needed to ask.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries assured fellow Democrats that Republicans are “on the run”—despite the GOP controlling the White House, both chambers of Congress, and holding a firm 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court. During a virtual call last week with DNC Chair Ken Martin, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), and other Democratic leaders, Jeffries attempted to paint a picture of a Republican Party in retreat, even as President Donald Trump settles into a second term and the GOP enjoys its most commanding grip on power in years. “We have the Republicans on the run on three core issues,” Jeffries declared. “They are on the run in terms of the economy.
