As frum Jews all over the world spent their Chol Hamoed in their homes, learning, entertaining their children and perhaps watching a Shwekey concert online, some frum Jews were dancing and singing together. Where? In a coronavirus hotel in Israel of course. Many frum patients in Israel, mostly from Bnei Brak were taken to coronavirus hotels before Pesach which were specifically designated for Chareidi people. The IDF’s Home Front Command established three Chareidi “coronavirus hotels” in the north: the Kinor, Lavie and Ner Etzion. Since the “guests” were all ill with the coronavirus, they were the only frum Jews in the world who could freely daven with a minyan, socialize and dance and sing together.

A video showing two Arab nurses wrapping tefillin on a Chareidi elderly man ill with the coronavirus went viral in Israel. Channel 13 News interviewed one of the Arab nurses, with the host beginning the interview by telling the Arab that he seems very good at wrapping tefillin to which the Arab replied  “B’Ezras Hashem.” The Arab explained that he works in the isolation coronavirus ward at a Tel Aviv nursing home and one of the patients, a Chareidi man who is paralyzed on his left side asked the ward supervisor (also an Arab) to help him don tefillin. The Arab said that he and his supervisor looked at each other, wondering what to do about the strange request. The TV host interrupted the Arab saying: “[The patient] knew you were Arabs?

Wild boars have also been seen wandering the streets of Paris and Barcelona and goats are rambling around the streets of a Wales town.

Chareidi politicians and media outlets are slamming Israel Police after they illegally entered an apartment in Bnei Brak to stop an online Hallel that was being broadcast live on the internet. In attached videos, you will see a police officer climbing down from a ladder to a balcony outside an apartment in which singers Yoeli and Ruli Dikman were performing. There were a total o 4 people in the “Minyan”, as thousands watched from their homes online. Police had no search warrant to make this “raid” whatsoever. The officer walks past them to open the door to let other policemen into the apartment, before returning to take the microphone and unplug the musical equipment.

The Jerusalem municipality has arranged for “street concerts” to take place throughout Jerusalem to contribute to the simchas hachag of residents stuck in their homes throughout Pesach. On Monday, the fourth day of Chol Hamoed, it was Ramat Eshkol’s turn to watch a concert, with everyone enjoying “front row seats” from the roofs of their building, their porches or their windows.
