Lebanon’s Hezbollah terrorist group launched multiple rocket barrages at central and northern Israel on Sunday, wounding at least eight people, damaging structures and sending hundreds of thousands running for shelters.
Two men in their 60s were wounded by shrapnel in the Upper Galilee on Sunday afternoon, one severely and one moderately to severely, according to Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency medical service.
Also in the afternoon hours, Hezbollah launched eight rockets at central Israel, most of which were intercepted, according to the Israeli military. The launches triggered sirens in north Tel Aviv, Petach Tikva, Herzliya, Rosh Haayin, Ra’anana and the surrounding areas.
