The names of four IDF soldiers who fell in the battle in the Gaza Strip on Friday were released on Motzei Shabbos, raising the death toll of soldiers killed in Gaza to 29. Maj. Yehuda Natan Cohen, H’yd, 25 of Shadmot Mechola was a commander in the Givati Brigade. Master Sgt. Lior Arazi, Hy’d, 25, from Givat Chaim-Ichud, was a combat medic in the Shaldag unit. Staff Sergeant Yonadav Raz Levenstein, H’yd, 23, from Eilat was a Givati commando soldier. Staff Sgt. Gilad Nechemia Nitzan, H’yd, 21, from Shilo, was a Givati commando soldier. The number of IDF soldiers killed since October 7 is 345. The IDF also announced that two soldiers, one from the Givati Brigade and one from the Nachal Brigade, were seriously wounded in battles in the Gaza Strip on Shabbos day.
