Mordechai Shapiro announced his 4th album almost a year ago, and its been in the works since. Mordy has been slowly making progress for what seems to be a June of 2022 album release date.
Mordechai Shapiro is long overdue for an album. His latest one, Hakol Mishamayim came out in June of 2019.
In March Mordechai Shapiro released a single “Vehi Sheomda”, and just 3 months later he released his Sing It album with the Freilach Band. Mordechai then released another single 4 months later “Abba”.
Mordechai Shapiro then released his latest single Tamid Yesh Siba, which came along with an amazing new style music video that is nearing a million views.

Last year Mordy said in an interview with Ami Magazine that his 4th album would be released after the Sing It album “at the end of the year”. We understood this to mean December 2021, but it now seems Mordy meant the album would come out for this upcoming summer. (unless the album was delayed)
Mordy visited Israel for a concert last week, and then posted this pic of him working on MS4 (Mordechai Shapiro 4). Jewish Hock can’t confirm he was working on his album in Israel, but that is a very likely possibility.
Mordy was also seen recording in Israel Chanukah time with his some of his brothers including Duvie Shapiro. It’s unknown what project they were working on, though we’re guessing it’s for Mordy’s new album.
Mordy also announced a few months ago he’s working on a new Chupah song that will be featured in his upcoming album.
Mordys 4th album is still well underway, and Mordy hasn’t announced anything major yet. It’s safe to assume the album was either intended for, or delayed to a Post-Sfirah release – just in time for the summer. It would make sense for Mordy to have delayed his album, but more likely scenario is he intended to release it later all along.
Mordechai Shapiro is one of the biggest Jewish singers around today, and his album will likely be one of the biggest hits of the year. Many fans are awaiting his new album – but its possible he will still release more singles before releasing his 4th album. However, when the album is released – it will no doubt be amazing.
Mordechai’s new album will likely have 16+ tracks and include his singles released between the Hakol Mishamayim album and now (Ein Od Milvado, Vehi Sheomda, Abba, & Tamid Yesh Siba). The album will also likely be released along with a music video to the title track of his new album like he’s done previously.

If Mordy’s album comes out after Shavuos like his previous 2 did it would be a full year since the release of his Sing It album, and 3 years since Hakol Mishamayim. It’s very unlikely Mordy would want to wait longer than that between albums.
It’s also very possible Mordy’s album will be released before Shavuos time, but from what we’re seeing now we predict a release right after Shavuos 2022.
