Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu had a medical check-up on his eye on Monday while he was giving testimony at the District Court.
During the session, Netanyahu mentioned feeling discomfort in one of his eyes, prompting a physician to be summoned to evaluate his condition. His lawyer, Amit Hadad, informed the court at the start of the hearing that the Prime Minister was experiencing an issue with his eye and that a medical professional would be arriving later in the day. Judge Rivka Friedman-Feldman responded that the proceedings would pause when the doctor arrived to allow for the necessary examination.
Later in the day, Netanyahu’s team confirmed that the medical assessment had been completed. Doctors identified a minor abrasion on his cornea.
They prescribed eye drops as the recommended course of treatment. “The Prime Minister is continuing according to the established schedule,” his office stated.
