It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of renowned and beloved singer R’ Oded Dovid (Dedi) Graucher z”l. He was 62.
Dedi dealt with a severe health setback approximately five years ago and underwent a remarkable recovery. Nonetheless, his medical journey had remained delicate since that time, necessitating periodic hospitalizations. He passed away today at Tel Hashomer Medical Center.
Dedi was born on Tu B’Av in tof shein chof alef, a son of R’ Yeshayahu Yechiel Meir Graucher, who passed away when Dedi was young. His mother, Tzipora, passed away when Dedi was 16. The family hails from a Grer mishpacha. 
Over 20 years ago, Dedi occupied a place of prominence as one of the most beloved Jewish performers. With his various health challenges, he ceased performing.
He is survived by his wife and their children, including R’ shai Graucher, noted mechaber seforim and close talmid of Rav Chaim Kanievsky.
