As first reported here on Matzav.com, Rav Binyomin Finkel, venerated mashgiach of Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, is on a special visit this week to the United States.
Rav Finkel arrived on Monday, June 26, and went to Lakewood, where he has spent his time thus far. Monday morning, he spoke at the Kollel Ohr Shmuel early morning kollel at the Lutzk Bais Medrash. He then visited Bais Medrash Kerem Shlomo, which is led by Rav Tzvi Menachem Feigenbaum, as well as the Lakewood Cheder, Yeshiva M’kor Chaim, Yeshiva Nesivos Hatorah, Yeshiva Toras Zev. He also visited the home of Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, rosh yeshiva of Bais Medrash Govoah and attended an asifa for talmidim of local Chassidishe chadorim held at Lakewood High School.
Tuesday morning, he davened Shacharis and attended breakfast at the home of Binyomin Greenstein. He visited Yeshiva Orchos Chaim, Talmud Torah Bais Avrohom, Yeshiva Ohr Yehuda, Bais Reuven Kamenitz and Mesivta Nezer Hatorah. In the late afternoon, he spoke at Bais Medrash Govoah. In the evening, he attended a kabbolas ponim at the home of Benzion Ferziger in Jackson. Tuesday night, Rav Finkel spoke at an asifas chizuk at Bnos Devorah Hall for parents of children struggling with contemporary challenges.
Rav Finkel is scheduled to spend this coming Shabbos in the Deal, NJ community.
