On Tuesday, renowned maggid and author Rabbi Paysach J. Krohn made a deeply moving return to the public eye as he made his first appearance since suffering a stroke at the Agudah Convention last month.
The beloved speaker, renowned for his inspiring words and his unique ability to touch hearts, was welcomed with overwhelming warmth and excitement at Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, NY.
Rabbi Krohn has been undergoing extensive rehabilitation since the stroke, and his recovery journey has been nothing short of remarkable. After spending several weeks at the Kessler Rehabilitation Center, he was recently released and has continued his recovery at home. His family has expressed immense gratitude to the broader community for their outpouring of support and tefillos, which they say have been instrumental in his progress. With the remarkable speed of his recovery, they remain hopeful for a full and speedy return to health.
On this special day, Rabbi Krohn was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of talmidim and rabbeim at Yeshiva Darchei Torah. Among those welcoming him were Rav Yaakov Bender, rosh hayeshiva, and Rav Shlomo Avigdor Altusky, rosh yeshiva, along with the dedicated hanhalah.
The atmosphere in the bais medrash was filled with an air of anticipation and joy as Rabbi Krohn entered to the sound of song from the crowd. The love and respect for him were palpable.
As always, Rabbi Krohn’s words were powerful and filled with warmth. Speaking from his heart, he shared words of chizuk that resonated deeply with all present. His message was one of hope, bitachon, emunah and perseverance, inspiring the talmidim to continue striving forward, no matter the challenges they may face. Rabbi Krohn’s gift for inspiring others was on full display as he spoke. In his unique, inimitable style, Rabbi Krohn once again proved why he is so cherished by all who know him.
As Rabbi Krohn continues his recovery, the community remains united in their tefillos for his full and speedy return to full health. All are asked to daven for the full refuah of Paysach Yosef ben Hinda.
