In comments yesterday at seudah shlishis, Rav Yitzchok Zilberstein, rov of Ramat Elchonon, mentioned that in recent days, he declared that “Bnei Brak is the most protected place in the world” after the Chazon Ish and Rav Chaim Kanievsky stated that “Bnei Brak will not be bombed.”
In response to a question from the crowd as to whether this statement is also true for other chareidi communities like Modi’in Illit and elsewhere, Rav Zilberstein replied, “Certainly, the statements are true for other communities as well.” He explained that since the Chazon Ish anchored his statement on the shemiras Shabbos of the residents of Bnei Brak, any place where Shabbos is observed will have the same shemirah, assurance and security, ensuring that bombs will not fall.
Rav Zilberstein repeatedly emphasized the reinforcement of shemiras Shabbos and the daily study of two halachos of hilchos Shabbos.
