Ceasefire negotiations in Doha aimed at ending the conflict and securing the release of hostages have stalled over the past 24 hours, Kan News reported. The talks have made no headway on several critical points, including the IDF’s withdrawal lines from Gaza, the list of hostages and prisoners to be released, and assurances for ending the war. However, the discussions have not significantly deteriorated either. The only reported progress involves the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff has not yet traveled to Doha, reportedly waiting for more substantial developments before joining the talks. Separately, Al Jazeera released what it claims is a map of Israel’s proposed military deployment during a possible ceasefire, allegedly shared during the negotiations. According to the report, Israel insists on maintaining IDF troops along the Morag Corridor, effectively keeping Rafah under Israeli control.
