Two people were killed in a horrific head-on-crash in Southern Israel.
Area fire and rescue on Thursday responded to reports of the crash on Route 40 near Kibbutz N’vei Harif, a kibbutz in the Aravah Valley near Eilat.

A series of hate-crime vandalism incidents damaged vehicles and Jewish schools in Los Angeles this month, police said.
The incidents began on Dec. 14 and 15 when numerous vehicles were spray-painted and vandalized in the Beverlywood and Pico-Robertson neighborhoods, police said in a statement Wednesday.

Kathryn Spiers, a security engineer, said Google fired her after she created a pop-up notification for employees to inform them of their labor rights.

Tragedy struck Bnei Brak on Thursday night with the sudden passing of Yeshiva Bochur Chaim Aharon Zakash (חיים אהרון זק”ש).
According to Hatzalah volunteers who were on the scene, the 17-year-old Yeshiva Bochur from Yeshiva Tiferes Mordechai suddenly passed out while walking down a flight of stairs on Thursday evening.
