The three men who were released from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip on Shabbos reunited with their families in Israel in heart-wrenching scenes, captured on camera.
Yarden Bibas, 35, who was taken hostage with his family into the Gaza Strip during the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre, returned to Israel alone. Hamas claimed in November 2023, that his wife, Shiri, 33, and their two children— Ariel, 5 and Kfir, 2—had been killed.
Bibas was greeted by his father, Eli, and sister Ofri, at the IDF’s Re’im camp just outside the Strip, before flying by helicopter to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, where his mother, Pnina, was waiting for him.

After being freed from Hamas captivity in Gaza yesterday, former hostage Gadi Mozes took a shaver to the thick beard of his son, Yair Mozes, who had pledged not to trim it until his father was safely back home.
In a video filmed at Rabin Medical Center, where Mozes and the other released hostages are recovering, 80-year-old Gadi, who had been captured by Hamas on October 7, 2023, while at Kibbutz Nir Oz, can be seen carefully shaving his son’s face, followed by trimming his grandson’s hair.
In the background, a family member can be heard reciting Shehecheyanu, marking the joyous occasion of Mozes’ safe return.

President Donald Trump suggested that the Department of Transportation’s hiring procedures might have contributed to a fatal mid-air collision involving a regional jet and a Black Hawk helicopter. He argued that both the Biden and Obama administrations had relaxed the standards for becoming an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration.
“They put a big push to put diversity into the FAA program,” he remarked.

Hostages Gadi Mozes, 80, and Arbel Yehud, 29, were transferred to the care of the Red Cross this afternoon, after 482 days in captivity, but the scene in Gaza was a sickening one.

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) spent a considerable amount of time during his questioning of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — who is President Donald Trump’s pick for Health and Human Services Secretary — pushing him to condemn a specific baby product.
“I think the gist of what you were trying to say today is you’re really pro-vaccine. You want to ask questions, you have started a group called the Children’s Health Defense. You’re the originator,” Sanders began, before drawing attention to some of the items on the group’s website, including onesies with slogans such as “Unvaxxed Unafraid” and “No Vax. No Problem.”
Sanders made it clear he was deeply offended by the products and demanded that Kennedy renounce the onesies.
