North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared his intention to adopt the “toughest” approach in dealing with the United States, according to reports from state media, just weeks before US President-elect Donald Trump is set to return to the White House.
Kim described the United States as “the most reactionary state that regards anti-communism as its invariable state policy,” accusing Washington of deepening its security alliances with South Korea and Japan, which he claimed were evolving into “a nuclear military bloc for aggression.”
