Twenty-six New York City firehouses were forced to close on Saturday amid an FDNY “sickout” in protest at the Covid-19 vaccine mandate. Hundreds of FDNY workers have reportedly been taking paid sick leave in protest over the mandate, which came into effect at 5pm on Friday. Rep. Jury finds James Vincent guilty of all charges in the anti Semitic beating of Rabbi Menachem Moscowitz in a totally unprovoked attack. According to the investigation, on April 21, 2018, at approximately 1 p.m., the victim, a 52-year-old Jewish man, was walking home from his Synagogue after Sabbath prayers. The defendant then allegedly ran from behind the victim, placed his hands on his neck and applied pressure, the evidence shows. He then allegedly punched the victim in the head and body, put his arms around the victim’s head and applied pressure.

An extremely disturbing photo went viral in Israel on Sunday – a matzeivah inscribed with the words “Murdered by Beilinson Hospital in the COVID Department. Hashem should avenge her blood.” According to a statement from Beilinson, a major hospital in Petach Tikvah, the kever belongs to a woman in her 70s who not only refused to get vaccinated but also remained at home for an extended period of time after she contracted COVID and became seriously ill. When she was finally hospitalized, she had already suffered a heart attack and a pulmonary embolism. Despite this, “the staff treated her with unending devotion and was in constant contact with her relatives.” The woman eventually passed away from COVID complications.

Israel Police on Tuesday morning arrested three additional suspects of alleged involvement in two murders that occurred in Jerusalem over 30 years ago. The suspects are all in their 60s – two are residents of Jerusalem and one is a resident of Haifa. The suspects are or were members of the Shuvu Banim kehilla and include the son of a former Israeli minister and the husband of the woman who admitted her role in one of the crimes. The woman’s attorney said that her client was a victim of the Shuvu Banim cult and she is cooperating with the police. The court extended the detainment of the three suspects arrested on Sunday for another eight days.

The members of the state commission of inquiry into the Meron disaster slammed the head of the Meron HaGalil Regional Council during his testimony last week for failing to fulfill his responsibilities regarding the Meron site.
