Los Angeles’ Skid Row is usually a place most people try to avoid. Packed with homeless people’s tents and deviants of all sorts, it’s the type of place that regular folk steer far away from. This Tisha B’av, however, a group of bochurim found themselves walking past the homeless tents as they searched for another friend. As they moved past one homeless man’s little fort, he called them over. “I have something very important for you,” he says. The man rummaged around in his tent for a few moments and emerged carrying the shel rosh from a pair of tefillin. The man said that through his time on the streets, whenever the cops would kick him out of areas, he always made sure that no matter what, he kept that shel rosh with him.

The FBI on Monday raided Donald Trump’s home and office at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in a search that was ostensibly related to an investigation into the former president’s handling of classified documents. But some are sniffing a set-up. One of those people is Fox & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt, who suggested that the FBI may have planted incriminating evidence against Donald Trump during their “search.” She provided no evidence to back up her theory. The mother of Ibrahim Nabulsi, who was killed in an IDF operation on Tuesday, not only seemed to rejoice at her son’s funeral but later stated that there should be “100 more Ibrahims.” “Ibrahim was shot,” she said, in a video translated by AbuEliEnglish. “But there are 100 more Ibrahims here. Everyone here is Ibrahim. You’re all my children. You’re all Ibrahim.” “Ibrahim is now with Abraham, Ibrahim is now with the prophet Muhammad. Ibrahim won. Praise be to Allah.” The crowd then chanted: “Congratulations to the martyr’s mother.

Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of Donald Trump, said the former president was “shocked” when he learned that hordes of FBI agents had descended on his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida and were raiding it. Speaking to Fox News host Will Cain, who was filling in for Tucker Carlson, Lara Trump was asked: “Have you spoken to the former president, how is he doing, what is the attitude of the family?” “I have spoken to my father-in-law. I got to tell you, you know, he’s as shocked as anybody,” she responded. “I think for someone – and anyone quite frankly – who loves this country, and believes in America, this should shake you to your core. What has happened today.

While everyone is focused on the legal and political ramifications of the FBI executing a search warrant at Donald Trump’s residence and office in Mar-a-Lago, former NYPD Commissioner Bernie Kerik says there’s an even more worrying scenario that could play out: the attempted assassination of the former president. Kerik was interviewed Monday by Newsmax following the raid and said that he is concerned that Trump’s very life is in grave danger. “If you remember back in 2016, right before he got elected, I was in Washington D.C. I was at a couple of different social events, and I hear people talking, they said the Democrats want this guy so bad that they wouldn’t put assassination behind it.

A live broadcast on the Lebanese al-Mayadeen channel showing rockets being launched at Israel by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group tried to cover up the fact that one of the rockets fell within a crowded civilian area within the Gaza Strip, as reported by the Abu Ali English Twitter account. As the videographer zoomed in on the area within the Gaza Strip where the PIJ rocket fell, the reporter tried to hint to the videographer to turn the camera away by saying “rockets are flying into the sea.” But the videographer didn’t get the hint and finally the reporter resorts to saying on live TV in a subdued voice: “I’m asking you to turn the camera away!!” (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)

In just thirty seconds, a group of thieves managed to get away with over $2.15 million in high-end diamond jewelry in a smash-and-grab robbery at a Bronx store. Surveillance video shows a suspect in a white t-shirt, black cap, and wearing sunglasses, acting like a customer and being buzzed into Rocco’s Jewelry on Webster Avenue in Fordham on Friday afternoon. But instead of entering the store, the suspect held the door open so three masked colleagues in crime could rush in. One of the suspects who was wielding a hammer then smashed through the glass cases while the others grabbed the expensive items. The stolen jewelry were placed into bags, with the thieves then fleeing the location on foot. Police are still searching for the suspects. (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)
