Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has ignited controversy by advocating for the division of the United States into two separate nations, one “red” and the other “blue,” amid claims of an impending civil war. Greene, known for her far-right views, appeared on Fox News on Tuesday to defend her position, with host Sean Hannity questioning her on how such division could be healed without a split. While Greene stated that she doesn’t want a civil war, she argued that the nation was moving in that direction and action must be taken. “The last thing I ever want to see in America is a civil war. No one wants that — at least everyone I know would never want that — but it’s going that direction, and we have to do something about it,” she said.

Thousands of Israelis protested against the judicial reform and the “end of democracy” outside the Knesset on Monday night. However, various videos published on social media of protestors being interviewed showed that many of them had no idea of what the judicial reform entails. One teenage protester told Kan News that the laws dictate that “the government will decide who’s in the Knesset and whoever opposes the laws they propose will go to jail.” Additionally, a video posted by Chareidi journalist Ariel Elharar showed that not all the participants in the protest were even “authentic” protesters. Elharar wrote: “Yesterday at the offices of Refuah and Simcha [a chessed organization] in Jerusalem, the Arab janitor didn’t show up.

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday described the federal response to the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, as a “betrayal” as visited the village amid mounting frustration from residents and local leaders more than two weeks after the disaster. Trump, wearing his trademark red “Make America Great Again” cap and an overcoat, said the community needs “answers and results,” not excuses. He spoke at a firehouse roughly half a mile from where more than three dozen freight cars — including 11 carrying hazardous materials — came off the tracks near the Pennsylvania state line. “In too many cases, your goodness and perseverance were met with indifference and betrayal,” Trump said. He appeared with Sen.

As the government on Wednesday continued to advance its judicial reform bills, opposition leader Yair Lapid lost his equilibrium. Amid a raucous debate on the Override Clause, an amendment to one of Israel’s Basic Laws that will curb the power of the Supreme Court, Lapid got up to speak, quickly reaching an extremely high volume. “I want to address the real prime minister [Justice Minister] Yariv Levin. Since you run this government, you have to remember that with power comes responsibility. And in another half a year from now, when the Israeli economy is shattered on the floor – because it’s already shattering – when the security is on the floor, when the state will fall apart from within, it will be on your head because you’re the real prime minister,” Lapid fear-mongered.

The mayor of East Palestine, Trent Conaway, has criticized President Joe Biden for traveling to Ukraine instead of visiting Ohio’s toxic train derailment site. Biden’s surprise visit to Kyiv on Monday to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has angered the mayor, who accused the President of abandoning his domestic responsibilities. Conaway spoke out against Biden during an interview on Fox News, calling his decision to visit Ukraine “the biggest slap in the face” and claiming that the President does not care about the people of Ohio. The mayor was also angered by reports that Biden had been giving away millions of dollars in aid to Ukraine while neglecting the Ohio disaster.

Former congressman and current Fox News host Trey Gowdy took failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake out to the woodshed over the lies about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that she has been pushing. Lake has been falsely claiming that DeSantis is endorsed by far-left billionaire George Soros. In reality, Soros is simply reported to see DeSantis as “shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious” and able to defeat Trump in the 2024 Republican primaries. That’s not an endorsement; it’s a statement of belief, and possibly fact. “This attack was from a failed Republican gubernatorial candidate in Arizona,” Gowdy said. “Three months ago, she thought that Ron DeSantis was the best thing since sliced bread. Now she wants you to think that Governor DeSantis was endorsed by George Soros.

Ambassador Erdan said, “Over the past weeks, the State of Israel has been mourning the deaths of eleven recent victims of terror and dozens injured. Civilians.
