Thanks to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Hatzalah of South Florida is now a full fledged EMS provider. In an event attended by Rabbonim, Hatzalah volunteers, and many community activists and members, DeSantis signed the bill into law at The Shul of Bal Harbour in Surfside. Hatzalah of South Florida is now legally allowed to use lights and sirens while responding to emergencies in their private vehicles, and allowed to transport patients to the hospital in their state of the art ambulances. Hatzalah of South Florida is the first — and for the time being – only private volunteer faith-based 911 response team in the state. Hatzalah was launched 13 years ago in Florida, with a dream that was fulfilled today, thanks to Governor DeSantis.

Reports of a stolen ambulance from a Utica-based company turned into a lengthy pursuit on the New York State Thruway for state troopers Sunday morning into the afternoon. WHAM-TV reports that police say they caught the vehicle on the Thruway and later on I-490 and into the city of Rochester. The chase lasted about 100 miles. Police said they later located the ambulance off of the Culver Road exit, and were led down Seneca Road when the vehicle crashed into Irondequoit Bay near Newport Yacht Club. “It was surreal to see somebody come flying through, crashing through our gate and go into the water,” Bob Henry, who serves on the board of directors for the club, told the TV station. David Drushler was making a delivery at the yacht club and witnessed the incident.

MK Michael Malkieli (Shas) gave his first speech as an opposition member in the Knesset. During the very combative speech, Malkieli referred to the newly appointed Prime Minister Naftali Bennett as “the Con Man from Ra’anana”, and Avigdor Lieberman as “The bully from Nokdim.” At the end of his speech, Malkieli tore up a copy of the coalition agreements at the Knesset podium. Malkieli attacked the newly formed government and said: “This is a gathering of swindlers, and Bennett sits at the head of it. They do not intend to do any of the things they agreed upon here in this agreement, and they wouldn’t be able to even if they tried.

Head of the Agudas Yisroel Faction of the UTJ MK Yaakov Litzman addressed the Knesset plenum on Sunday and strongly castigated incoming Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. “This is the first time we are witnessing the election of a government in Israel that does not have the public support behind it. It did not win an election, it has no support of the nation, rather it is a collection of lies, election fraud, and a gathering of people who hate one another, who found a way to circumvent the law in order to take revenge against Netanyahu. There is nothing ideologically that connects them.

During the Knesset meeting to swear in the new government, UTJ leader and MK Moshe Gafni addressed the plenum and attacked the members of the newly formed coalition. “I’ve been a Knesset member for many years, there are a lot of MKs here whom I have a lot in common with, and there are those with whom there is a deep ideological rift between their views and my own. MK Meirav Michaeli and I have a lot in common. When she spoke, that was a speech where I didn’t interrupt at all.” “I’ve read the coalition agreements and I didn’t see any point that discusses how we will care for Holocaust Survivors, there was one toothless statement about the elderly. There are eight parties in the coalition.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah released a video on Tuesday in response to growing rumors that his health was failing. The rumors began after the last video he publicized that showed him coughing and having difficulty speaking. Israeli intelligence believed Nasrallah was suffering from the coronavirus during the previous video, which was released last month. The videotaping took place in his hiding place and was the first video that Nasrallah published since the previous one that showed his deteriorated health issue. “I thank everyone who cared for me and still hope that we will pray together in Jerusalem,” the terrorist leader said. “I thank all the people who cared for me, who sent me honey and distributed bread. Some people said I was dead and went into a coma.
