Shalom Goodman was a miracle baby from the moment he was born.

Born at only 33 weeks, Shalom wasn’t just preterm– He was born with renal insufficiency, meaning his kidneys don’t work properly.

His parents, Nechama and Yisroel Goodman, recently got a major piece of news about their son that might change everything:

“Today we got a huge update– Shalom needs a kidney transplant and we need to fly to the U.S. for the transplant immediately according to the doctors. The surgery has been set for a few weeks from now and we need to pay up-front…We have a matter of weeks….I know that this is a lot of money but I believe in my heart, I have to believe, that there good people out there that will help Shalom. That Klal Yisroel will open their hearts and help us save our tiny baby’s life. He is so small and helpless and he needs help to survive.”

Every day the Goldman family is fighting for Shalom – But the pressure is overwhelming and they are collapsing from exhaustion and worry. They have only a few weeks to raise all the necessary funds in time, and every precious second matters.

There are so many heartbreaking tragedies on the news these days…But this one can be prevented. Please donate here to save Shalom’s life. Because if we all act together, Shalom won’t be another tragic story on the news…It will be a front-page piece about how a baby’s life was saved thanks to the most powerful, beautiful force in the world–
The compassion of the Jewish people.
