Israeli military forces have reported the discovery of an extensive cache of rocket launchers and over 50 rockets during operations in the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF announced that the armaments were concealed within a youth movement compound and a local mosque – demonstrating, for the millionth time, how terrorists use civilian structures for military purposes. In a video released by the IDF, the commander of the Nahal Brigade’s 50th Battalion, Lt. Col. Tomer Sayag, is seen detailing the findings. The footage reveals dozens of rocket launchers inside a building associated with the Palestinian Scout Association, which Lt. Col. Sayag indicated were positioned to target Ashkelon and other central cities in Israel. The launchers were neutralized following their discovery. Adjacent to the youth compound, IDF forces uncovered roughly 50 rockets in an underground storage facility. The rockets were marked with the insignia of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group. In a separate operation, a video was published by the IDF showcasing the 460th Armored Brigade’s encounter with multiple empty underground rocket launchers. These were situated near a mosque, with their electrical wiring extending into the religious building, suggesting that they were operated from within. (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)
