Iran has hurled a thunderous threat across the Indian Ocean, vowing to obliterate the joint U.S.-U.K. naval base on Diego Garcia in a storm of missiles and drones if the United States dares to attack the Islamic Republic. The chilling warning, reported by Britain’s The Telegraph on Saturday, comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran spiral toward a breaking point, with the remote Chagos Archipelago base now a glaring target in Iran’s crosshairs. “Iran possesses the firepower to strike from its mainland,” boasted Iranian state media, flaunting the nation’s arsenal.

Denmark’s foreign minister issued a sharp rebuke to the Trump administration on Saturday, criticizing the manner in which it has addressed Denmark and Greenland. He emphasized that Denmark is already stepping up efforts in Arctic defense and is willing to work even more closely with Washington.
“We’ll get Greenland. Yeah, 100%,” Trump declared in an interview with NBC News.
He continued, saying there’s a “good possibility that we could do it without military force” but made clear that “I don’t take anything off the table.”
Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen responded to the growing tensions in a social media video posted after U.S. Vice President JD Vance visited the island. Not long after, Trump addressed the matter again publicly.

Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, one of the leaders of the Jewish kehilla in Iran, attacked Israel live on Iranian television on Friday and disavowed the State of Israel. He spoke on the Machfel program, one of the most popular television programs in Iran. Beginning his speech in broken Hebrew,  he said: “We are Jews who believe in our holy Torah. We we absolutely do not approve of the Israeli government, what it’s doing in the Holy Land.

BREAKING NOW: NYC Mayor Eric Adams just visited the home of Sidney Saada, whose wife and two daughters were killed in the horrific crash on Ocean Parkway. Adams offered words of condolences and stated his his entire team is there to assist in any way possible.

During a press event on Friday, President Donald Trump offered his perspective on the definition of a woman, stating it is “somebody that can have a baby under certain circumstances,” and took aim at Democratic support for transgender women in sports, predicting it would hurt them politically: “because they’ll never win another election.”
When prompted by a reporter to explain what he believes constitutes a woman, Trump replied, “Well, it’s sort of easy to answer for me, because a woman is somebody that can have a baby under certain circumstances.”

Russian drones hit a military hospital, shopping center and apartment blocks in Ukraine’s second-largest city of Kharkiv, killing two people and wounding dozens, while U.S. President Donald Trump voiced anger at Russian President Vladimir Putin for comments he made about the leader of Ukraine. Ukraine’s General Staff denounced the “deliberate, targeted shelling” of the military hospital late Saturday. Among the casualties were service members who were undergoing treatment, it said. Regional Gov. Oleh Syniehubov said those killed were a 67-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman.
