As a Bochur, Rav Lipschutz learned in Torah Vodaas and went to Beis Medrash Elyon in Monsey in 1952.

R’ Moshe Leider, a Slonimer chassid and A great-grandson of R’ Boruch Ber Leibowitz, passed away on Hoshana Raba, leaving behind eight orphans, the oldest of whom is 14. R’ Moshe was diagnosed with cancer four years ago.

Tragedy struck the Baltimore community, as word spread of the tragic Petira of Mrs Deborah Friedman A”H.
Mrs Friedman was walking home from Shul on Motzei Yom Kippur, when she was R”L struck by a vehicle on Cheswolde Road.

Rav Aharon Aronson, an elder of the Torah community in Holland, passed away at the age of 100 on the first night of Rosh Hashanah.
R’ Aronson was born and grew up in the Netherlands.

Tragedy struck the Breslov Chassidus with the petira of Rav Moshe Costantiner Z”L (קוסטנטינר) in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Wednesday. The Niftar was a member of the chassidus in Eretz Yisrael, niftar at the age of 51.

25-year-old Yosef Dov Bakar Z”L was Niftar on Wednesday following critical injuries sustained in a vehicular accident in Kazbegi, near Tbilisi, in Georgia earlier in the week. He was niftar in a Georgian hospital.

Rebbitzen Talza Kroyna Bransdrofer A”H, wife of the Dayan, Hagaon HaRav Aharon Bransdorfer of Toldos Aharon, was Nifter on Tuesday in Yerushalayim. She was only 58-years-old, and had been suffering from a bad illness for some time.

Tragedy struck the Kiryas Joel community Sunday night, as word spread of the tragic death of a Yungerman from the community.
It happened at around 7:45PM, when a vehicle driving on Karlsburg Rd and Seven Springs Mountain Rd lost control.
