HaGaon HaRav Aryeh Abrahams ZT”L, one of the last talmidim of the Chazon Ish was niftar early Thursday morning in Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv, where he was hospitalized in the past months, battling a serious illness.

Hagaon HaRav Chaim Zev Malinowitz zt”l passed away on Thursday evening in Israel. Rav Malinowitz was the Rav of Beis Knesses Beis HaTefilah Yonah Avraham in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph.

Rebbitzen Gittel Kaplan A”H was niftar today, Tuesday, at the age of 49, after battling a difficult illness. Rebbitzen Kaplan was the wife of HaGaon HaRav Nissan Kaplan, the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Daas Aharon and former longtime Maggid Shiur in the Mir Yerushalayim.

YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of the Kretchnif Kiryat Gat Rebbe, HaRav Yisroel Nissan Rosenbaum ZATZAL. He was 70.
The Rebbe had been hospitalized since Simchas Torah for an infection and difficulty breathing.

Two Chareidi men in their thirties were R”L killed in a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon on Highway 444 near the city of Elad.
The accident involved a truck and a motorcycle.

YWN regrets to inform you of the sudden Petira of Rav Hillel Mandel, a well-known Mechanech for the past 30 years. He was 62.
Rav Mandel currently lived in Chicago, where he served as the Menahel of the Veitzner Yeshiva.

Ophir Hartuv, a 28-year-old man died on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack while he was working at a gym in Tel Aviv. United Hatzalah volunteers together with Magen David Adom ambulance crews responded to the emergency and initiated CPR in an attempt to resuscitate Hartuv.

YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Shamshon Grozovsky ZATZAL. He was 97.
Rav Grozovsky was born in Vilna to his father, Hagaon HaRav Reuven Gozovsky, who was a son in law of Hagaon HaRav Boruch Ber Leibowitz ZATZAL, the Rosh Yeshiva of Kaminetz.
