Samaria Council head Yossi Dagan met with Paula White, a senior advisor to President Donald Trump and head of the Faith Office at the White House. White is regarded as one of Trump’s closest confidantes and plays a key role in maintaining connections between the President and evangelical leaders, as well as broader faith-based communities.
Her influence was evident during Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu’s recent visit to Washington. Despite a packed itinerary, Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, dedicated a full four hours to meeting with White at the White House.

Dear Matzav Inbox,
It is beyond time that we address the disturbing trend of people – both children and adults – using fireworks on Purim. This is NOT a minhag tied to the Yom Tov, nor does it have any place in the celebration of Purim. Fireworks are an absolute sakanah, a danger to both those using them and those around them.

Several months ago, the Rosh Yeshiva was diagnosed with a serious illness, and in recent weeks, his condition has deteriorated severely. During seudah shlishis on Shabbos, his Rebbe, the Kretchnifer Rebbe, called upon all to daven on his behalf.

The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee convened once again today to discuss the chareidi draft law, focusing on the possibility of using financial incentives to promote enlistment among yeshiva students. According to the timeline presented during the session, the military intends to issue 5,000 draft notices this Thursday, followed by another 4,000 in approximately two weeks, and an additional 5,000 at the beginning of May.

The Chief Rabbis of Israel, alongside the rov of the Kosel and mekomos hakedoshim in Eretz Yisroel, have issued a joint declaration urging the return of stones from the Kosel that are currently on display at different locations across the country, insisting that they should be restored to their original resting place.
This statement follows the removal of a five-ton stone from the Kosel, which had fallen during the destruction of the Second bais Hamikdosh in 70 CE. The stone was taken to Ben Gurion International Airport for display as part of a historical exhibit. The chief rabbis criticized this move, calling it “the desecration of the holy stones.”
