A woman who had been an aguna for nearly two years was finally freed from her marriage after her Israeli husband granted her a get. His decision came when he realized that without giving her the divorce, he would not be permitted to travel to the kever of Rav Nachman of Breslov in Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
The husband had planned to make his annual pilgrimage to Ukraine, but discovered he was barred from leaving Israel due to a travel ban—one of the penalties imposed on men who withhold a get. When his appeal to have the ban lifted was rejected, he ultimately conceded and granted his wife the divorce. She celebrated Rosh Hashanah as a free woman.

An IDF reservist has been suspended by the Israel Defense Forces after a video surfaced showing him appearing to give a Gemara shiur to at least three male terrorists who were bound and blindfolded, the IDF confirms.

“The behavior of the soldier in the video is serious and does not align with the values of the IDF or what is expected of IDF soldiers. The soldiers involved have been suspended from their duties and will face disciplinary action,” reads the statement issued by the IDF.
The time and location of the video remain unknown at this point.

In a significant victory for children with special needs in New York and a blow to the New York State Education Department, NY Supreme Court Justice Kimberly A.

A University of Michigan rabbi and a group of 20 students endured a terrifying ordeal when an armed intruder barged into the rabbi’s home during a Rosh Hashanah seudah.
“I’m taking everything, give me everything,” the gunman reportedly said as he threatened the group with a handgun.
Thankfully, no one was harmed, and everyone in the house managed to flee through the front door. The intruder, however, escaped with little more than a single bag, according to the Detroit News.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect, believed to be a Black man in his early 20s.
“The preliminary investigation indicates this was a crime of opportunity,” the Southfield Police stated. “However, the investigation is ongoing.”

I really don’t think you understand the absolute miracles we witnessed last night here in Israel.
In fact, I’m sure you don’t.
Let’s break this down.
Israel has three air defense systems, each one a technological wonder—and that’s not just me saying it. That’s Dr. Gold, who basically invented the Iron Dome. The level of sophistication in the Iron Dome is simply unparalleled.
But the Iron Dome only knows how to detonate short-range rockets or missiles within a 70 km range, give or take.
Then Israel has the David’s Sling system. That one knows how to deal with mid-range missiles up to approximately 300 km.
