Rav Reuven Feinstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva of Staten Island, has been hospitalized and is in need of a refuah.
All are asked to daven for the complete refuah of Shalom Reuven ben Shima.

Rav Yitzchok Zilberstein said that a soldier asked him whether he could take oil for Chanukah lighting from his tank’s engine if nothing else were available or whether this would be considered stealing army property.
“No doubt you can do it,” Rav Zilberstein responded. “Why? Because one is taking enough for one candle and needs no more than that, which is worth a few cents. And the army wants you to have the power and privilege of a Chanukah candle, which is surely acceptable for them.”

A sefer Torah is being written for the Kibbutz Be’eri shul in memory of Elchonon Klemanzon, who was murdered while rescuing dozens or even hundreds of people from the kibbutz on October 7.
When Klemanzon, a resident of Atniel in the Chevron Hills, heard what was happening on October 7, he was called up for reserve duty but not ordered where to report.
Without hesitation, he, his brother Menachem, and a cousin Itiel, headed to the Gaza envelope. Commandeering a military armored vehicle abandoned on the roadside, they entered the kibbutz, which had been seized by Hamas terrorists, and began evacuating people under fire.

Families of those abducted by Hamas had an emotional visit to the residence of Rav Meir Tzvi Bergman, Rosh Yeshivas Rashbi, organized by Rav Dovid Druck of the “Kissufim” organization.
At the beginning of the meeting, the representatives of the families introduced themselves to Rav Bergman.
The rosh yeshiva sighed with great pain as he heard the families’ stories and said to them, “What can I say to you, and how can I strengthen you?”

Akiva Litov struggled a lot with shemiras Shabbos. He loved the parties, the music, the freedom, the liberation. But every time he didn’t keep Shabbos, it burned up inside of him. Akiva shared his story on Motzoei Shabbos at the Agudah Convention, relating how on Rosh Hashanah, he’d give it another shot. He’d try again, despite how hard it was for him. When it came to the Supernova Festival, he prevailed upon his friends to skip it…..

This past Thursday, Hamas murderers opened fire at a Givat Shaul bus stop, injuring eleven and murdering three people in cold-blood. Among them was a remarkable Torah scholar who was a dayan in Ashdod – Rav Elimelech Wasserman zt”l and HY”D.

As part of his tish for the talmidim of Yeshivat Har Etzion, whose friends are fighting in Gaza, the Belzer Rebbe expressed his sorrow over the murder of the esteemed dayan Rav Elimelech Wasserman Hy”d.
On leil Shabbos, hundreds of talmidim from Yeshivat Har Etzion in Gush Etzion participated in the tish led by the Rebbe, held annually on the Shabbos of Parashas Vayishlach. After the tish, the Rebbe gave the talmidim fruits from the tish in his residence and they sang niggunim.
