In yet another unprovoked, vicious attack on visibly Jewish individuals, Shomrim reported that on Monday night, a gang of six teenagers assaulted two Jewish teenage boys in Crown Heights. The victims were walking on Carrol Street and Albany Avenue when they were followed and stopped by the group of assailants, who were wearing hoodies and masks. The attackers demanded money from the victims and proceeded to assault them, leaving one with a bloody nose. Multiple witnesses called Shomrim, and their units arrived at the scene within a minute. The suspects fled on Albany Avenue towards Eastern Parkway, and witnesses saw them entering an apartment building on St. John’s Place.

Numerous media reports in Israel testify to the fact that university campuses in Israel silence those who support right-wing opinions on a variety of issues, with the most recent issue being the government’s judicial reform plan. Complaints have led to university administrators instructing professors to refrain from discussing the judicial reform unless it’s directly related to the topics they teach, such as law or political affairs. However, when a microbiology professor on the Rechovot campus of Hebrew University began a discussion on judicial reform in class and one courageous student protested, he claimed that yes, judicial reform is relevant to microbiology.

During a discussion in the Knesset’s Constitution Committee on Monday, one of the speakers revealed the true motive behind the anti-judicial reform protests. “This is about the state of Tel Aviv versus the Jewish state,” said Dr. Giora Yaron, a businessman and physicist who served in the past as the chairman of the board of directors at Tel Aviv University and is heavily involved in the protests against the reform. “This isn’t a term I invented. The problem today is the Jewish state versus the state of Tel Aviv and the state of Tel Aviv is simply fed up!” he said. (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)

The left-wing protest that took place in Bnei Brak near the home of UTJ MK Moshe Gafni on Tuesday evening was sparsely attended, with only a few dozen protesters showing up. At the demand of the police, the location of the protest was changed from outside Gafni’s home to a few hundred meters away. When the protesters arrived at the area, they were greeted with shouts by Bnei Brak residents who had gathered in the area, who yelled at them “traitorous leftists!” and “Only Bibi is the king of Israel.” The protesters, holding Israeli flags and at least one rainbow flag, stood in the area and called out: “Israel is not a dictatorship and “Moshe Gafni, wake up.” Some residents of Bnei Brak and neighboring Ramat Gan played some amusing music for the anti-Bibi protesters.

A small group of left-wing protesters from the “Blocking the Coup” movement obstructed the road leading to the Finance, Interior, and Economy Ministries on Tuesday morning. The protesters chained themselves to each other and stood in the middle of Rechov Bank Yisrael, aiming to prevent government employees from reaching their work offices. The police who were called to the scene ordered the protesters to move to the sidewalks or be forcefully evicted from the road. In response, the protesters sat down on the road. After some time, the police began to evacuate them using force and ten of the protesters were arrested. The movement issued a statement: “This is a wake-up call. Start addressing the real problems of Israeli citizens – or your government will lose its legitimacy.

Three anti-Israel activists unabashedly admitted that they lie about Israel by accusing it of apartheid as seen in a video compiled by Canary Mission, an organization that exposes hatred and antisemitism on college campuses and beyond. One activist justified her lies by claiming: “It’s not facts, it’s about power. Apartheid, as a word, has incredible power.” Another activist blatantly said that he’s not concerned “about the accuracy of the word. I don’t care. As long as there is a conversation happening in which the villain is portrayed clearly, I think that is good.” A third activist even accused the US of engaging in apartheid. Perhaps he meant against white Americans?

Fox News host and conservative radio commentator Mark Levin blasted Democrats for tolerating anti-Semitism on the left, highlighting a recent event by led by notorious antisemite Louis Farrakhan, in which he attacked and smeared Jewish people. “Jewish power has all of our people the knowledge, wisdom, and talent afraid. But just look at what these people control. And every door that leads to power, they have a sentinel on watch. Somebody has to take on the synagogue of Satan. And here we are. What good is your vote if the man you voted for has to go to somebody that you never elected? Behind the door to get instructions.
