Fox News host Brian Kilmeade launched a stinging attack against Donald Trump for incessantly harping on his 2020 election loss rather than talking about his accomplishments as president, and blasted the former president for literally praising the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at a recent campaign event. “I think for President Trump to spend 80% of his time complaining about court cases instead of just looking at his own record and what he would have done,” Kilmeade said at the end of a segment discussing recent bank failures. “He does that, or other candidates do that, they’re going to be unbelievably successful because that’s going to be the conversation at the kitchen table. ” Kilmeade then turned to last weekend’s Trump rally in Waco, Texas, in which the former president seemed to praise Jan.

Many Israeli expressed outrage at the closure of Ben-Gurion Airport on Monday for political purposes, inconveniencing thousands of people at a peak traveling time. What aroused even more fury was the frivolous way in which it was closed – on the whim of one man – the head of the Israel Airports Authority, Pinchas Idan, who is also a member of Likud. During a press conference by the head of the Histadrut calling for a strike [which may have been illegal], Idan went to the stage, took out his phone, and called an unknown official at Ben-Gurion. “I’m announcing that from this moment on there are no take-offs,” Idan said. “Who is this? Hello? Stop all take-offs right now. Landings will continue as usual. Stop the take-offs. We’ll talk about everything later.

A dramatic car crash on a California freeway was caught on camera last week, showing a car flipping through the air after colliding with a tire that had become airborne. The incident took place on Thursday on the Ronald Reagan Freeway in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles. The dashcam footage, captured by Anoop Khatra who was driving behind the dark-colored Kia Soul in the left lane, recorded the terrifying moment. According to the video, a white pickup truck was driving in the adjacent lane when the front-left tire suddenly popped loose and shot out in front of the Kia. The Kia collided with the tire and was propelled several feet off the road before flipping in the air and landing on its roof, then rolling several times.

Tens of thousands of people are demonstrating on Monday evening in favor of judicial reform outside the Knesset in Jerusalem. The demonstration is being held between Gan Sacher and the Supreme Court, at the back entrance to the Knesset building. The organizers of the rally Avichai Boron and Berele Crombie said: “The right-wing camp must stand up now and choose its independence. If this time they steal our elections and invalidate our choice at the ballot box – we will always remain second-class citizens. It’s now or never.” (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)

In a rally held in Waco, Texas on Saturday night, former President Donald Trump launched his 2024 presidential campaign by criticizing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Trump accused DeSantis of being disloyal and hit him on issues such as Social Security, Medicare, and the coronavirus pandemic. During his speech, Trump recounted an emotional meeting with DeSantis during Florida’s 2018 gubernatorial primary race. According to Trump, DeSantis approached him with tears in his eyes and begged for an endorsement to help him win the nomination against Adam Putnam, who was leading in the polls. Despite believing that DeSantis had no chance of winning, Trump endorsed him, and DeSantis won the nomination.

Following the left-wing “protest” in front of the home of Shas chairman Aryeh Deri on Thursday, the videos of the yeshivah bochurim dancing and singing versus the leftist-flag waving anarchists went viral on social media. One secular Israeli posted the video, commenting: “I’m not religious but I prefer to be part of them with all my heart and soul and not part of the left.” “The Chareidim are the anchor that will preserve the Jewish identity that will enable the survival and existence of a Jewish state. The left is exactly the opposite. If there is no clear Jewish identity, neither the money nor the hi-tech will help.” (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)
