Disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok says the 9/11 attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people, were “nothing compared” to the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. “I think if you look at the scale in terms of a threat to democracy, I mean, 9/11 was a tragedy, we lost thousands of lives in a horrific way. We still mourn to this day. But when you look at something that is an attack on democracy, something that could actually bring about a fundamental change to American governance as we understand it, 9/11 is nothing compared to January 6,” Strzok said on MSNBC. He added that he believes the U.S. should have had “the same sort of war footing that we were on in the weeks and months and years after 9/11,” following Jan.

A huge neis occurred on Wednesday evening when a shooting attack near Ma’ale Adumim by a wanted terrorist, who already killed an IDF soldier and seriously injured a security guard, ended with only one security guard being lightly injured. A preliminary investigation carried out by the Ma’ale Adumim’s Security Department reveals that around 8 p.m., a local resident who had exited the city spotted a suspicious figure walking towards the checkpoint in the exit lane from the city (opposite lane). The vigilant resident made an immediate U-turn and reported his suspicions to the security guards at the checkpoint.

A disturbing incident occurred on Thursday evening when Jewish residents of the Shomron physically attacked IDF forces. The incident began with a protest by Jews in the Hawara area, near Shechem, during which Jews took revenge on Palestinians for throwing stones at their cars earlier in the day by throwing stones at Palestinian cars, leading to clashes between Jews and Arabs. The Jews were protesting against the daily terror acts perpetrated against Jews by local Arabs. IDF forces, led by the commander of the 202nd Paratrooper’s Battalion, engaged in efforts to restore order and were violently attacked by a number of Jews, including the spraying of pepper gas. The commander and a soldier were slightly injured.

Arab terrorists threw a Molotov cocktail at the 189 bus on the way from the yishuv of Emmanuel to Bnei Brak on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred as the bus passed by the Palestinian village of Azzun, near Qalquilya. Pinchas, 24, a passenger on the bus, told Arutz Sheva that the firebomb hit the side of the bus. “I felt the heat of the fire, it was frightening.” He added that the driver spotted the terrorists and tried to swerve to the side.

Worried about the economy and your finances? Stop it, we’re busy worrying about other things. That’s what MSNBC contributor Michael Steele has to say to you. Steele, appearing on the 11th Hour, said that democracy is at stake in the upcoming midterm elections, so Americans shouldn’t be concerned about their finances. When host Stephanie Ruhle noted that the economy is Americans’ number one concern, Steele attacked the “anti-democratic insurrectionist Republican Party” to justify why people should still vote Democrat. “Let’s just go back to January when the president gave the first State of the Union.

A terrorist carried out a shooting attack on Wednesday evening near the entrance to Ma’aleh Adumim, lightly injuring an Israeli security guard at the checkpoint. The other security guards returned fire and neutralized the terrorist. The security guard, who miraculously was only injured on his hand, was evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital for treatment. As can be seen in the video below, the security guards showed great courage in neutralizing the terrorist, who continued to return fire until he died. A grenade was discovered on the terrorist’s body, which miraculously didn’t explode.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy says that if Republicans gain control of the House and Senate they will immediately repeal the Democrat-passed law that allows the IRS to hire 87,000 new agents. McCarthy, who is expected to become Speaker of the House if Republicans gain control over the chamber, told CNBC’s Squawk Box program that the GOP will crack down on the IRS. Asked whether Republicans will conduct Jan. 6 committee-esque hearings on Joe Biden and his son Hunter, McCarthy sidestepped the question. “We won’t play politics in this process. We will follow the law, and we’ll follow the information wherever it takes us, but first and foremost, we’re going to focus on the economy … We’re going to apply a ratings scale to every single prosecutor to make they’re upholding the law.

In the course of the hakafos shniyos on Motzei Chag on Monday night at Yeshivas Ponevezh, hundreds of talmidim began singing “U’vchein tzaddikim” when the Rosh Yeshivah, HaRav HaGaon Gershon Edelstein began to speak. However, HaRav Edelstein immediately motioned for the bochurim to stop the song. In a video of the incident [seen below], HaRav Edelstein could be seen explaining his opposition to the song to Reb Leizer Kahaneman. The incident quickly became a topic of discussion as the Rosh Yeshivah generally does not stop the bochurim from singing for him. Chareidi journalist Yonasan Birnbaum explained what happened, saying that he asked a member of HaRav Edelstein’s household what the Rosh Yeshivah whispered to Reb Leizer.

In an apparent attempt to save the last shreds of his credibility before he retires, Dr. Anthony Fauci insisted in an interview earlier this week that he was not at all responsible for nationwide school shutdowns during the Covid-19 pandemic. In an interview with ABC, Fauci was asked whether it was a mistake to shut down schools for so long. Fauci first defended the shutdowns, pointing to Covid-19 fatalities among children, but then pivoted. “If you go back, and I ask anybody to go back over the number of times that I’ve said we’ve got to do everything we can to keep the schools open, no one plays that clip,” he said.
