Channel 14 News published a video of the suspect, reporting that the man is a Jew in his 30s.

Former President Donald Trump lunged at a Secret Service agent in a rage in the presidential limousine when told he could not be taken to the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, a former White House aide testified Tuesday. “I’m the (EXPLETIVE REMOVED) president, take me up to the Capitol now!” Trump insisted, according to the aide, Cassidy Hutchinson, describing what she was told had happened in the limo that day by another White House aide, Tony Ornato. Trump also grabbed the steering wheel of the limo in a fury after learning he would not be taken there, Hutchinson said. Hutchinson, who served as a top aide to Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, revealed the dramatic incident for the first time at an abruptly scheduled hearing of the select House committee investigating the Jan.

A passenger train traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago derailed in Missouri on Monday afternoon, and multiple fatalities are being reported. The Southwest Chief was carrying about 243 passengers when it collided with a dump truck near Mendon at 1:42 p.m., Amtrak spokeswoman Kimberly Woods said. Social media posts from the scene show several rail cars on their sides. The Missouri Highway Patrol said eight cars derailed. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has confirmed a “large fatality event” has occurred. The department is on standby for any environmental problems. Three passengers were taken from the scene to University Hospital in Columbia, hospital spokesman Eric Maze said. He did not have information on their conditions.

Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, now running for Congress, slammed AIPAC and said he no longer supports pro-Israel lobbying and activist group AIPAC. For years, de Blasio claimed that he supported the group and even spoke at their annual policy conference. “They have changed in a way that is unacceptable to me because they have attacked the people I believe in,” de Blasio said during a candidate forum for New York’s 10th Congressional District. De Blasio was referring to AIPAC’s targeting of Nina Turner, a virulently anti-Israel candidate who lost her primary in Ohio to pro-Israel Shontel Brown.

Massachusetts Senators Elizabeth Warren says that the U.S. Supreme Court has “burned whatever legitimacy they may still have had” with its ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 landmark decision that said abortions are Constitutionally protected. “They just took the last of it and set a torch to it,” Warren told ABC in a Sunday morning interview. “I believe we need to get some confidence back in our court and that means we need more justices on the United States Supreme Court. We’ve done it before, we need to do it again.” ABC host Martha Raddatz pressed Warren why abortion rights shouldn’t be decided by individual states. “‘Go to the polls,’ you say. President Biden says, ‘Go to the polls.’ But look at the states outlawing abortion.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol said that he was pressured by Trump to “find” 11,780 votes in Georgia – the amount needed for Trump to win the state. The committee played an audio recording of Trump’s claims to Raffensperger, with the Republican secretary of state explaining how every claim made by Trump was false. “The numbers are the numbers, and the numbers don’t lie,” Raffensperger said, and three separate recounts in Georgia resulted in the same conclusion: Joe Biden had won the election in the Peach State. Hundreds of uniformed Southwest Airlines pilots stood in perfect lines in the scorching Texas sun at Dallas Love Field on Tuesday, holding signs that blamed Southwest management for delays and cancellations that have upset passengers. Every once in a while, a motorist would honk or yell encouragement. Most passengers made a beeline for the security checkpoint inside the terminal. The protest, which the union said drew up to 1,300 pilots, was the latest example of airline workers trying to put pressure on companies by taking their demands for higher pay directly to the flying public. Federal law makes it nearly impossible for airline unions to conduct legal strikes. Contract negotiations tend to drag out — often for years.

The announcement on Monday of the end of the Bennett-Lapid government was met with great jubilation by many, especially of course by the members of the opposition who are eager to be back in power. Others, including Chareidim, are rejoicing at the fall of a government that made unprecedented attacks on religion, derided Rabbanim, and glorified liberal values. But it seems like no one is rejoicing more than the Dati Leumi sector, some of whom formerly supported Bennett and may even have voted for him. The video below is of dancing in Yeshivas Ramat Gan: Rosh Yeshivas Ramat Gan HaRav Yehoshua Shapiro received the news while at a wedding: The bochurim at Yeshivas Maale Eliyahu in Tel Aviv rejoice: A celebration also took place in the center of Jerusalem.

A member of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol says investigators have uncovered enough evidence of a nefarious Trump plot to charge him with crimes. Rep. Adam Schiff told CNN’s “State of the Union” program Sunday that the committee has evidence that Trump and his associates actively planned to send fake electors to Congress in a bid to have the election stolen away from Biden at the last moment. “We will show evidence of the president’s involvement in this scheme,” Schiff said.
